¤~Anhur Knight~¤
Name:
Arley Fletcher
Name Meaning:
The bowman, the arrow maker
Nicknames:
Arley's normally just Arley, of course on occasion he's called by his last name, but he doesn't really care either way around.
Age:
17
Birthday:
February 17
Zodiac:
Aquarius
Hair:
Arley wears his dull, dark brown hair in the typical boy fashion, with bangs, slightly extended side burns, and a clean-shaven neck. On a typical day in the neighborhood, Arley's hair is more or less a mop- grooming is not that much a major commitment. In short Arley's hair can be described as a Chia pet straight out of the local nuclear waste dump.
Eyes:
Arley's eyes are a deep hazel, surrounded each by two lines of fairly thick, dark eyelashes.
Height:
He stands at about six feet, three inches giving most lovely ladies something to look up to. Yes, Arley has completed his growth spurt.
Weight:
Due to a miraculous metabolism, Arley remains at about 185 lbs.
Body Shape:
Arley doesn't quite take the "bean-pole" award, although he's tall, he does sport some muscle definition. His arms are long and well defined, as well as his legs. He has fairly wide shoulders, but by no means is he a muscle man. His hands are fairly large, and his feet are between a size twelve and a half and thirteen.
Clothing:
Arley's school uniform is anything but what the model student (or chibi thing) is supposed to look-like while wearing it. In the summer he tends to keep his sleeves rolled up, and his collar unbuttoned, but in the winter he wears it in reverse and a heavier weight of fabric. While out of his wrinkled school uniform, Arley likes to lounge in carpenter pants, and usually a blue button down shirt with its sleeves rolled up. He hates socks and likes to wear his unique sandals that look like they came from Biblical times in all kinds of weather and school. Jeez, do they smell.
Other:
Arley has pretty light colored skin- although it tans rather fast when he sits out in the sun. He doesn't believe in body piercing or tattoos, as he views them as a form of self-mutilation. His face can get pretty scruffy due to the fact that he hates to shave and has a fear of razors (Most girls think this is kinda cute though. ^,~) but it doesn't get too bad.
Overall Appearance:
On the whole side Arley can look pretty rugged. He can definitely get the average girl's attention, but likes to play "hard to get." Some girls however think he should clean up his looks, with an iron in one hand and a shave more often than once or twice a week- ironically its these gals he tries to win over.
Personality:
More or less outgoing and talkative to just about anyone, it doesn't take long to get to know Arley; however, it takes a long time to build a lasting and true relationship with him. While he isn't necessarily the life of the party, he is quite a personable person to be around. He can talk about most things with just about any stranger that initiates a conversation with him, usually having his own out-take on certain subjects, but around friends is when he lets on how he feels rather than just what he thinks. Not very good with names, even if Arley met the cover model for some hot magazine, he'd probably not remember their name or even their face.
When he's alone Arley more or less just vegetates, watches anime videos, or listens to bizarre spiritual music. He never bothers to clean up after himself- to the point that when his sheets are dirty he'll vacuum them instead of taking them to a local laundry mat. If someone were to walk into his pigsty he'd probably clear off a chair and let him or her join in with his madness. He likes to take on lax life and is afraid of commitment, and when he is presented to a situation where it is most needed, he'd probably break down; run away. He'd never tattoo his body, or pierce it; fortunately though there aren't very many people that make a big point of this. Arley gets most upset when people step upon another's belief- he believes that all people are intended to believe in what they wish, and if necessary he'd prove this point with more than just an outrageous rant.
Arley doesn't mind being a knight, aside from its commitment. He views the whole ordeal maybe a little lighter hearted then the other senshi- like the chase of a desert hare, it is just a game. Really he has to, or else he wouldn't be able to trek on.
Strengths:
Arley is a very lax individual. He has creative and innovative tendencies, as well as a keen wit. He likes to play games, and doesn't mind losing.
Weaknesses:
Arley has problems with commitment- from love to school he can't seem to stay with one thing or another- a lack of focus, something not many people expect from a hunter. He doesn't keep very good track of things, and the clutter around him, and his schoolwork displays the confusion and clutter of his mind.
Likes:
The outdoors, teachers and classes that don't give a damn about anything beyond trying, vegetating, getting messy, but not to the point where he can't clean up, the sounds of insects chirping, luke-warm baths (or showers), and sadly enough blowing bubbles (even more with a companion!)
Dislikes:
Shaving, razors, having to "stick with things," cooking, baking, washing behind his ears, really smelly perfumes and colognes, and bubble solutions that don't quite cut it.
Hobbies:
Arley takes a slight interest in archery, pottery and clay, exercising, and drawing, but he doesn't really focus in many and or any of these things despite how good or bad he is.
Dream/Aspiration:
Arley wants to surprisingly become a dad someday, not to mention a potter.

Love life:
Whom does he love with all his heart? As of now nobody, but if somebody he was /destined/ to be with would cross his path, he'd actually break through his commitment issues as best he could and go after them. Hopefully they'd feel the same.
Home:
Ward Dormitory, Arley resides on the 3rd floor in a two-person dorm room- as of now though he's the only one there.
Family:
Chaz Fletcher
- dad. Chaz is a free-lance author, who more or less depends on Arley's mother's salary. He looks nothing like his son aside from a familiar height and build. Chaz has light brown eyes and hair, a Romanesque nose, and sports a thin mustache. While many of his opinions are the same as Arley's the two have a rather weak relationship. Chaz relates through words, while Arley through pictures the two have a major communication issue. Chaz in person is very shy and skittish; to most people he's a total dork.
Freda Fletcher
- mother. Freda is a busy newspaper photographer. While her title doesn't sound like it could really rake in the cash, her up-beat and outgoing attitude has allowed her to take pictures all over the world for things outside of the local gazette. Her facial features are very reminiscent to Arley's; however, she only reaches a height of five feet, seven inches. Since Freda uses her pictures to communicate to the world her relationship with Arley is far stronger then Chaz's.
Friends:
In school Arley's friends are Nathan Fars and Kelly Clingensmith.
Nathan Fars
- Nathan is very flirtatious and he takes it upon himself to go after any girl that crosses his path and bombard her with his horribly written poetry and bizarre tastes. He's tall, standing at about six feet, one inch and prides himself with his handsome good looks. Blonde hair and blue eyes, Nathan could fit the definition of an Aryan- although by no means is he racist. In fact Nathan is quite the "womanizer".
Kelly Clingensmith
- Kelly on the other hand is an all out feminist. In her spare time if she's not keeping Nathan on a leash, Kelly takes off to the school pool. A gifted swimmer, she is one of the most powerful people on the swim team. Kelly stands at about five feet eight inches, with long chestnut brown hair, and two gorgeous green eyes. Although she's shorter then the two boys, her bark is all she needs to cut them down a few inches. Kelly does have a thing for Nathan, although she'd never let herself come out and admit it.
Out of school and back at home, Arley has only bothered to stay in touch with his old friend Lena Caroway.
Lena Caroway
- Lena is more or less your fuddy-duddy; "our parents are friends, so so are we" person. She doesn't really take many interests in things; however, even through e-mail Lena can understand Arley's problems. The two are as close as siblings. Lena stands at five feet five inches, and doesn't mind being below Arley's eye level. Her hair is cut short like a boy's, and is a burning red. She sports two cute lilac colored eyes.
History:
Arley's parents, Chaz and Freda met after their graduation at a party, at first sight the quirky couple feel in love and within the year the two married. Promising not to have children until they had a house, it took nine years for Freda and Chaz to hit a lucky spot financially and get a quaint little in house in the town of Mica, Indiana. Their neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Caroway owned the local newspaper company and upon noticing the two's amazing talent in writing and photography offered them jobs on the spot. Freda took the job and let her career soar from there, while Chaz declined the opportunity only to remain dependent on his wife. After three years in there tiny linoleum sided house did they give birth to Arley, prematurely; however, to their delight and surprise he grew up rapidly into a strong young man. When Arley was young he played with his father's pocketknife, cutting his finger and instilling a now very apparent fear of blades and razors in him. As a child Arley wasn't nearly as outgoing as he is now, his only true friend being Lena. Lena and Arley would play nearly every day up until the two were twelve, and upon entering Mica Junior High the two stayed close but had more of an awkward boundary between their friendship than in the past. At the age of fourteen, Freda and Chaz decided that for Arley's own good he should go off to school, and off he went to Garrison Academy.
There he met Nathan as his first roommate; however, that quickly changed after Nathan couldn't bear the filth and accused Arley for creating all his occasion zits. After Nathan moved out, the two become much better friends need less to say. Arley met Kelly when Nathan insisted on going to watch a girls swim meet. Nathan threw something in the pool and it was Kelly who fwaped him before a single life guard could boot the terrible duo. Afterwards though she lightened up to guys, and the troublesome three-some was born.
As of now Arley, Nathan, and Kelly are all enjoying their average teen lives, occasionally hanging out at the most delicious Cheesecake Emporium, and bugging Nathan to get his dad to send more moola to waste in kinky shops at Rhodes Mall. Unfortunately for Arley though his normal life isn't going to last much longer.

Senshi/Knight Name:
Anhur Knight
Element:
Hunting
Symbol:
An arrow pointing upwards into a half (non-filled) circle with five lines extruding outwards (image a half sun).
Henshin Item:
Arley's ring is encrypted with his Symbol on the front and inside. It appears to be made out of very old silver, as it has oxidized horribly since before he stumbled upon it.
Henshin Phrase:
"Anhur Knight Transform!"
Transformation:
Subtle yet beautiful, all Arley needs to do is utter silently his transformation phrase, his ring glows icy blue, and a cloud of sand engulfs him. The cloud itself seems to whisper his theme, and from it arrows of light immerge. Standing proudly emerges Arley, his eyes gleaming for a new challenging hunt.
Main Color:
A pale peach
Secondary Color:
A deep and dark navy
Fuku/Uniform:
Arley appears wearing a more or less skintight, and very complimenting white sleeveless T. Around his collar is his main color, peach, and around his neck he wears his henshin ring on a chain. Arley sports a belt, with a top color being peach and the bottom a darker navy in contrast. His pants are black, with peach cuffs at the bottom. Arley amazingly still wears his favorite sandals; although spruced up to look a little slicker with the whole design. His armbands serve as an armor made out of a light silver.
Weapon:
Arley bears a bow and arrow, the bow's wooden frame has many hieroglyphs encrypted on it; however, don't expect Arley to know what they mean, he has a hard enough time in Home EC alone. The arrows he uses are tipped with obsidian and make a nice noise as they fly through the air.
Attacks:
Desert Arrow Squall (offensive)
- Arley pulls back on his arrow as he utters the words Desert Arrow, and releases saying squall. The arrow then follows the trail of the impure heart it was aimed at, leaving a trail of sand in its wake. It deals damage in very varied amounts depending on the darkness within the opponents heart; one with a pure heart and twisted motives could come out unscathed, while another with such a dark heart could totally deflect the attack- somebody in between is most at danger.
Hunter's Oasis (healing)
- Arley chants these Hunter's Oasis and is blessed with a more focused mind and healed wounds. It only works on himself and takes an immense amount of energy to use to its full effect.
Theme Song:
Desert Rose by Sting
