Hair: Carmen's hair is a light purple color. More of a lavender color. It is long and very very soft. It extends down her back and ends below her bust. She spends a lot of time brushing it and making it look perfect. She normally keeps it up in a messy yet stylish bun behind her head. She often adds a bit of color to it. Adding little bits of synthetic hair to it. There is never a flyaway and her short lavender bangs rest on her forehead. They almost touch the top of her eyes.
Eyes: Her eyes are a saffron color. She always perfectly outlines her eyes in colorful eyeliner. Mostly black but she has been known to use greens and blues. There is a difference between Saffron and lavender so her eyes are a slightly different shade then her hair.
Height: 5'8" She's very tall and stands out among her fellow 9th graders.
Weight: 142 lbs.
Body Shape: Very thin and wirey. She doesn't have much of a bust. Her arms and legs are very thin, as is her torso.
Clothing: Carmen definitely has her own sense of style. She has 2 piercings in her left eyebrow and has three in each ear. She has her cartilage pierced on the right side. She tends to wear very colorful clothing. She normally wears multiple layers of clothes and makes a lot of her own outfits. Her style is sort of 60's and early 70's retro. She tends to go with a color scheme, all pinks, all blues, that sort of thing. An example of her one of her outfits would be a pair of long striped socks that reach to the knee over a pink skirt. A red long sleeved shirt that flares at the cuffs. Over that she might have an orange or pink sweater vest. She would probably wear a pink tie around her neck and some long dangle earrings on her ears. She would wear pink fuzz in her hair to match her outfit. She would wear most likely a pink stone in one eyebrow piercing and a silver hoop in the other. And a pair of pink ked style shoes. She owns a lot of shoes so she always has shoes to match. She hardly ever wears rings, but she almost always wears 10-20 bracelets on each arm. Mostly bangle. She wears a lot of silver chains around her neck. One with her name, which she wears all the time, one with a long chain that hangs down to her bust and has a silver pendant with an amethyst in it. She'll almost always wear her pair of wide framed reading glasses. She doesn't need them, they're actually just a novelty item. She found them at a store once and fell in love with them. She wears them almost all the time.
Carmen's winter/fall school uniform... The blouse is white and has cuffs that wrap around her wrists and are held with yellow cuff buttons. Over the blouse she wears a blue sweater vest. Over the vest is a big yellow bow. She wears a blue skirt with a yellow stripe at the bottom. She wears white knee socks, they each have a stripe of blue and a stripe of yellow around the top of them. When wearing her school uniform she keeps her hair down and puts on a yellow hairband. She wears brown loafer style shoes. She doesn't have anything in her eyebrow wile she's in school and normally puts blue stoned earrings in her ears.
Carmen's spring/summer school uniform... She wears a white short sleeved blouse. She wears a blue sweater vest over that shirt and the big yellow bow. She has the same skirt and socks as in the colder months. For shoes she wears blue ked style shoes. She wears the same earrings as in the winter and summer. She normally puts her hair up into a stylish yet messy bun and puts some yellow fuzz in there.
Overall Appearance: Carmen is relatively pretty but not many guys are attracted to her. They find her strange because of what she wears. She's also very tall and guys find it uncomfortable to be with tall girls.

Personality: Carmen is extremely Liberal. She is ready to break any rule. She has a bit of a problem with loyalty. She often has problems making up her mind quickly. She's also a tad bit Eccentric. She gets upset over the stupidest things. Like something being out of place. She washes her hands a lot because she is fearful of getting sick.
Otherwise she's an extremely happy person. She seems to always be smiling. She tends to sing a lot. She's a big fan of international music, often listening to J-pop, K-pop, or HK-pop. This tends to drive her friends nuts. She likes to do things like dance around her dorm room while listening to her music (quite loudly), much to the dismay of her roomie. Carmen's happy personality is infectious, she has a habit of making those around her very happy as well. Carmen tends to bug people around her who are not her friends. Many of them tend to think that she's a bit strange.
She always fills her dorm room with flowers and exotic plants. After school Carmen works at a floral shop. She gets to take home all the not so fresh flowers. Her side of the room is always covered in green. Carmen doesn't need the money since she was born into a well-to-do family. She just likes flowers and pretty things.
Carmen likes to make a big deal out of the simplest things. She always brings people gifts. ex, "Oh you got a new hair cut! Here I made you a card, should we have a party?" Her parents are wealthy and send her money each month so she can afford to do this. Some people are jealous of her because of this. Others try to become her friend just so she'll do things for them. Carmen has gotten pretty good at judging people with these intentions and she allows them to become her friend and she just doesn't do things for them.
Carmen is extremely in tuned with nature. If it's dark and raining she feels sad and lonely. If it's bright and sunny she feels happy and grateful.
Carmen absolutely loves being a senshi! She was so exited when she transformed for the first time. She loves all the members of her sailor team. She wishes she had been a senshi for longer. Her teammates often find her a bit annoying at times. Even when things look really bad Carmen never seems to get upset. She always just seems content. Some of her teammates feel that she doesn't take senshiness seriously enough.
Carmen doesn't have a problem with loyalty as a senshi, because she loves being a senshi. The problem with Carmen is that she has too much fun doing senshi things, almost like it's all a big game to her. Her teammates don't like that very much.

Strengths: Always optimistic, loves being a senshi, she's a visionary, has a very logical mind, her size makes her a bit intimidating.
Weaknesses: Never seems to take things seriously, Eccentric, unpredictable, has a problem with loyalty.
Likes: Music, any type. She loves it! She also enjoys being outside. She loves the sun and the white fluffy clouds. Working at the floral shop. She likes cheesecake. She loves biology class, it's her favorite class. Anything with flowers on it. Flowers in general.
Dislikes: People trying to change her, english class, wet weather.
Hobbies: listening to music, throwing parties, watching TV, e-mailing friends, talking on the phone, laughing.

Family: Sarah Effloresce - Sarah is Carmen's mother. She is a doctor at a children's hospital. Her hair is lavender and falls back on her head. She has yellow eyes. Carmen and her mother talk on the phone a lot. Sarah always sends Carmen things in the mail.
Harry Effloresce - Carmen's father. He is an office worker. He works 8-5 every day. He has lavender hair as well. It is short and conservative. He always dresses conservatively. His eyes are saffron.
Kurt Effloresce - Carmen's older brother. Kurt goes to another expensive boarding school out of state. Her sends Carmen e-mails, but other then that they don't really speak much. Last Carmen heard he had lavender hair slicked up and back. He has yellow eyes like his mother, but he normally wears contacts to make his eyes green. Kurt is 17.
Nancy Effloresce - Carmen's older sister. She has saffron eyes and lavender hair like Carmen and her father. She goes to another boarding school, within the state but far from Carmen's school. Nancy and Carmen write e-mails to each other and send each other things in the mail. Nancy is 16.

Friends: Michelle Valaridie - Carmen and Michelle are friends in school. They like to walk together after school. She thinks Carmen is funny and loves her bright personality. She has long teal hair kept in a long pony tail. Her eyes are blue.
Callista Than - Callista and Carmen are roommates. They don't have much in common but they can stand each other. They tend to get in augments about silly things, then laugh about it later. Callista also happens to be Sailor Hathor, another Ennead senshi. She has white hair and purple eyes.

History: Carmen was born into a wealthy family in the state of Maine. Carmen had 2 older siblings. They were 2 and 3 at the time of her birth. Carmen spent the first 5 years of her life at home.
She was given whatever she wanted and was hardly ever upset about anything. When Carmen was 3 her older brother was sent to a boarding school. When she was 4 her older sister was sent to a boarding school. Then when she turned 5 she was sent to a boarding school herself.
The first school she went to was in Virginia. It was a very expensive upper-class school. She had her own room and always received things from her parents. Even at the school she was completely spoiled. She wasn't making any friends because most of the girls we jealous. At that time Carmen was beginning to develop her sweet personality, she always offered people her things but none would take. The other girls just thought she was trying to be popular. Carmen begged her parents to let her come home but they said she had to stay for a wile. Carmen was always picked on by the other girls in the school. She stayed in that school for another 4 years before she was sent to an older girls school. This was achieved through many emotional letters and phone calls to her mother. This school was a privet school but not for the extremely rich. This was a middle class boarding school in New York (closer to home). There people loved Carmen. She was well received by everyone there. She made a lot of friends. She had the same problem she does now though. Many people wanted to be her friend just so she would get them things. At that time though Carmen was just glad to have friends so she didn't really care weather or not they were actually her friends.
Carmen's mother and father didn't like that school much though and Carmen was moved to another school within her second year. This school was again a wealthy school. Carmen was hated there too. She was in a room with 3 other girls now, but they never talked to her. She spent most of her time alone. It was here that Carmen found herself a new hobby.
The school that she was now going to was in Pennsylvania. There were many beautiful gardens surrounding this school. Wile walking in the garden one day she came across the school's gardener, Mr. Mitchell. He was planting some flowers. When Carmen asked what he was doing he said that he was helping the school to become more beautiful. He asked Carmen if she wanted to help him. She agreed and soon found that she had a natural talent for planting things.
After that Carmen was in the gardens every day after school. Mr. Mitchell soon became her "best friend." Carmen went to this school for 2 years before she was ready to go to high school.
Carmen went home for a short time before she was sent to the next boarding school. Her mother wanted Carmen to go to the same fancy high school as her older sister Nancy, but Carmen refused. She told her mother that it was her life and she should get to pick what school she wanted to go to. After much agreement her mother agreed to let Carmen go to Garrison Academy. A large private school in the state of Charlotte.
This is now Carmen's first year at Garrison. She has made a lot of friends and is living in a dorm room with Callista Than. She has a job at a floral shop and really loves the school she's in.

Henshin Item: Carmen has a bracelet for a henshin item. It is a thick silver bracelet with engravings of leaves and vines going all the way around the bracelet. A rose bud is in the center. She bought it at a souvenir shop wile she was in Egypt because she thought it was pretty.

Henshin Phrase: "Qetesh Celestial Power, Make-Up!"
Transformation: Qetesh's henshin is very simple. She calls out her henshin phrase and her clothes are removed. A large saffron colored blossom appears under her feet. The blossom closes and reopens again with Qetesh in full senshi fuku. While this goes on there is a sweet melody plaid in the background and a strange green glow comes from her henshin.

Fuku/Uniform: When Carmen transforms into Sailor Qetesh her hair changes. Her normal bun is gone and her hair hangs in two braids on the side of her head. Each one has a green hair ribbon around the bottom holding it. She wears a thin silver chain with a green stone hanging from the center of it. She wears a saffron choker around her neck, She has her symbol in the center of it. Her symbol is green. She has a green sailor flap with a stripe of saffron around the outside of it. She has a saffron colored bow. In the center of her bow is a broach made of 1 saffron stone and 2 forest green stones. Her bodice ends just below the bust and has a stripe of forest green and saffron at the bottom of it. Her skirt has a forest green belt and another saffron belt underneath that. There is a strip of fabric hanging from the center of the belt. The fabric is a long green strip outlined in saffron. The strip hangs a little longer then her skirt. Her skirt is mostly white with a stripe of green and a stripe of saffron at the bottom. She has a large light green bow behind her skirt. It is long a travels down to mid-thigh. She has a pair of short saffron gloves. They end halfway between her elbow and wrists. She wears a pair of forest green boots that go up to her knees. They have saffron colored laces.

Weapon: Natura Speculum (Nature Mirror) - I chose to give Sailor Qetesh a weapon because in Egyptian art Qetesh is always holding a mirror in one hand and two serpents in the other. This mirror is an oval shape with very detailed designs around the glass. The designs are of flowers and plants. The stem of the mirror is about 2 feet. It is an Egyptian style mirror, not like the more fancy looking European mirrors that we normally see. The mirror looks heavy, but it is actually quite light. This mirror cannot be used as an offensive weapon, as in hand-to-hand combat. Around the steam of the mirror are two ribbons. One lavender and one light green. They are different colors to symbolize the two elements of Qetesh the goddess. The lavender symbolizes her power of love, lavender being the color used to represent young love. The light green ribbon represents her protection over the natural world.
This mirror has no other purpose then to use her attacks. If the mirror is knocked from Qetesh's hand she cannot attack at all. She is absolutely powerless. She would then have to rely on her fighting skills, which she doesn't have much of.

Attacks: Qetesh Petal Tornado - Qetesh holds her mirror in front of her, the glass facing her. She calls out "Qetesh" and the mirror glows a soft green. She begins to spin around her mirror like a baton. She whirls it through the air and says "Petal." She bends down on one knee and stops spinning the mirror. At this point the glass of the mirror is still facing Qetesh. She points the glass towards her enemy at the same time she shouts "Tornado" the green glow erupts into a green light. Then out of the mirror comes many tiny flower petals. The petals go towards the enemy stinging them over and over again. This attack causes more damage depending on how long Qetesh can stand to keep it going. This attack is very stressful on her mirror, it can break the mirror if it continues for too long. Then Qetesh would have a problem.
Qetesh colorful blossom - Qetesh's holds her mirror above her head and recites the name of the attack. The mirror emits a white light that surrounds Qetesh's body. All the colored parts of Qetesh's fuku become forest green and the ribbons on the handle of the mirror become green. Her body glows with an aura of forest green. In this state all attacks are absorbed by Qetesh's mirror. This attack also has to be used carefully. Too much energy in the mirror can cause it to break. After this energy is absorbed Qetesh cannot use it for her own attacks. The mirror just simply collects all the energy of attack into one colorful blossom. When the attack is finished the mirror spits out a blossom the color of the attack just used upon Qetesh.
