Recently the Borg Collective announced that they would be
leaving WebTV on the 17th & sure enough, right after that
when I tried to email them, the account was closed.
However they continue to assimilate cyberspace & assure me
that they may be back someday.
In February. they opened the adwh chat room and wrote our
"official" irc. This is where many of us got to know them
best as they provided endless hours of entertainment that
can't quite be described if you missed out. They were
gracious hosts & were always quick to offer up a tray of
Deluvan slime bugs with tribble sauce & a pint of Romulan
ale to wash them down.
The Borg took over our directory page in March and did
their best to keep it updated, no small task. At the time
"he", hotrats & I were the only remaining active mallrats
(soon to be joined by Agents Romulus & Remus) and he had a
lot to do with getting us reactivated.
This post is to pay tribute to the Borg for all that they
gave to adwh, to thank them for their hard work & to
express how much I will miss them here. They were always
informative & entertaining. Many of us have wondered "who
is/are the Borg?" The question remains unanswered.
Borg Collective, I salute you!
Post your thoughts about the Borg Collective in this
thread. They will be collected, archived and sent to them
as a token of our esteem.

Your's was one of the 1st posts I read when I first came to
the group. Will miss your great sigs, your humour and all

Your posts were among the first I read when started lurking
here at the beginning of the year. (Being a star trek
fan.....I was intrugied by the Collective)
I learned so much from your posts... Yours is the only
chat room access I use for the group, and I have a low
"poof" rate! I have and will always cherish my "Bev's
Place" banners and the nursing you made me. Please return
to chat frequently!

Borg "assimilated" me almost immediately after my induction
into the M.A.L.L. R.A.T.S. With the name "Captain Cube",
they felt I was worthy of assimilation, and gave me the
spinning cube below..which has become my "logo" ....
The Borg have always treated me well, and they gave of
themselves in this group time and time again. Who can
forget the flurry of ADWH banners, the Borg Punkies... not
to mention all the less noticeable things contributed to
the group.
Perhaps since Agent Iceman is so deep in Puteron territory,
the Borg Collective will stay in contact with us ...

all I know is when any of you chose to speak, people

I am saddened by this news, but I rejoice at the same time!
I never had the honor of running into the Borg Collective,
and this is a great loss. On the other hand, I rejoice on
behalf of all the Mallrats who were/are enlightened by
his/her/their presence. This NG would not be "Who We Are"
without the Borg Collective. We would also not 'Remember
How We Got To Be Who We Are" by the same standard. 'Tis a
sad, sad day for us all...

Take care Borg. You have been an inspiration to me and a lot of people here at ADWH. Your services to the group are not matched by many and you always did it from the heart. Your absence will leave a hole that will be filled by others but your spirit will never be replaced.
I always saved the hard questions for you and you always had an answer or pointed me in the right direction. I found most of the time if you didn't know the answer that was because it couldn't be done (yet). Mind if I perform a Vulcan mind meld. Sure would hate to see all that talent just go away! ~LOL~
