Past Achievements

  • Received the first ever Environment Award from the Environment Ministry Office in 2054
  • Development of several nurseries
  • The planting of over 1 million trees
  • Environment education program in Sanischare, Dhaigan, and Khudnabari is helping over 180 women and 70 children to be conscious about the environment
  • 280 people teamed and cleaned Arjundhra Jalaswardham and Sanischare bazaar area. This operation has been carried out four times
  • Blood donation camp through which 28 pints of blood were donated to Bhadrapur N.R.C and 25 terminally suffering people were recommended by our office to the N.R.C.
  • Child for Environment Club established (child for environment programme) involving over 60 children
  • Child Education classes. We started nine classes in Khudnabari VDC with 25 illiterate children in each class
  • Parenting Education program has been provided to 120 people (grouped under 4 classes) for the span of 9 months
  • Child Health Education Program. 159 people had actively participated. Medicines were distributed through 15-health post. Orientation and training programme was also conducted. More than 2500 local inhabitants benefited through the programme
  • Strengthening Civil Society Program. In Dhuaghari, Khudnabari and Arjundhara, 24 groups comprising over 900 people were made into three organisations that provided loan facilities and co-operative schemes
  • Environment savings and cooperative organization (SCOP) which was stabilised some years back has successfully increased its membership to 80 people and sold 40,000 shares worth 50,000rp
    Fifteen groups of farmers are taking the benefit of environment savings and credit cooperative scheme.
  • Agricultural Loans Program provided a total sum of 3,25,000rp for agriculture. Ten family groups are linked with our organization.
  • Family Planning Program with seed funding provided by FPAN, distributed 3240 condoms, 840 pill strips and 648ml of Depo-Provera in one year
  • Rental Service Scheme provides utensils, tents, chairs, benches etc. creating an income of 75,000rp.

Many other activities have been organised which focus on environment protection. Every year we also celebrate 5th June, World Environment Day, where we organise stage programmes and poetry recital. Everyone is made aware of the environment on this day.
