Tau Scouting Party (Yan Xian) vs. Eldar Craftworld Terga-Dare (Raymond)

Farseer Keloth bent over to pick up the spirit-stone of the lost Guardian. The battle had passed and there was nothing he could do about it.

"Rest well my friend Haener, Guardian of our beloved Craftworld. You shall be avenged," whispered the Farseer to his friend now gone into the spirit world and back to the Infinity Circuit.

"Muster the warhost, we are to hold this line till our reinforcements arrive from the East Bridge. This young race shall learn what it is to take Eldar lives." With that, the Farseer left the command quarters.

As the Farseer set his foot upon the green plains of Yvrerse, the Tau expeditionary force was already well on its way, heading towards the nearest star-port for extraction. With haste, the assembled Eldar warhost of Guardians spread out into a thin line with the Wraithlord Sakornir holding the center battle-line with Farseer Keloth. He was not going to let them pass that easily.

At that same moment, silently behind the Tau force, the other part of the Eldar army arrived in pristine grace. The Tau was caught in a deadly crossfire. They had to extract fast if they were to return with their lives intact. With deadly efficiency, the Tau gathered their lines, pulling into a tight circle around the Battlesuits. The Commander saw the approaching Wave Serpents of the Eldar from the East side and knew without doubt that those craft held the deadly close combatants of the Craftworld. Sending the Hammerhead tank to deal with the Serpents, he led the assault on the Guardian line of defense. With strict accuracy, most of the shots landed and proceeded to rip through the Eldar lines. Time and time again, the battlefield was pockmarked with energy shots from the Tau lines. Taking careful aim, the Hammerhead tore a deadly hole through the Wave Serpent containing the Banshees. Two perished in the transport, unable to reach the safety hatches. Seeing the wrath of the Tau firepower take such a toll on his Guardian line, the Farseer charged boldly into the Battlesuit ranks. The ensuing battle saw both the Farseer and Battlesuits locked in deadly combat while the remains of the Tau army made their hiatus with the spaceport.

With the Guardians and Wraithlord wiped out by Tau firepower, there was nothing that the Eldar could do to prevent the force from escaping. Much of the Eldar Warhost was still on the East side and could not get into approachable distance to prevent the Tau force from making their hasty escape. With more than half the Tau force removed from the battlefield, the battle was over.
