FEDCON:
Death of the American Republic
Presented By F.A.C.T.S.
What about the skimming of public funds to promote "pork barrel politics?" This style of funding should more appropriately be given the title of how politicians keep their rich friends in money!
Each year ten's of millions of dollars of public money is diverted to already rich companies to promote their products. In 1991 a little less than $10 million was given to Sunkist to promote their products, but just ask how many poor people were able to receive any of their citrus products for free. About the only privilege the poor had in relationship to citrus was probably the right to pick it from the trees for starvation wages but at least the taxpayers had the privilege to pay for that right.
In 1991 Joseph E. Seagram & Sons received $145,000 in Federal funding to market one of its brands of whiskey overseas. Don't we have enough problems with alcohol and drug abuse in the United States? Now we have to start importing the problem to our friends overseas, and at the expense of the American public. McDonald's in the same year received $465,000 to promote their Chicken McNuggets. How many poor have ever gotten free meals at McDonalds?
Millions of dollars have been spent, and continue to be spent on other "pork barrel projects" of certain politicians. Start looking into the many questionable "pork barrel projects" of almost every Senator in Congress, and you'll start finding money that went into many projects that are more than just a little questionable. The people will find large sums of funding that has just disappeared, and in some cases the people will find projects that remain uncompleted because of disappearing funds.
The replica of a Catholic Mission in Espanola, New Mexico, that is soon to appear on a United States postage stamp was primarily funded as a result of "pork barrel politics," as well as the Don Juan De Onate Monument in Alcalde, New Mexico. Both projects remain as somewhat of an insult to the Native American communities in the area, and both projects have remained virtually closed to the public. There is also the issue of separation of church and state regarding the mission.
Northern New Mexico continues to be a "black hole" in which Federal funding disappears into a virtual questionable status. There are many other places in America that are funding "black holes," other than Northern New Mexico, where this same type of waste of public funding is taking place.
These are all examples of "pork barrel politics," but a more befitting name has already been given to it. Some call it the "welfare for the rich" and that seems to be a much better and fitting title. It is most always the members of Congress that support and give to the select few enormous amounts of free money, and they are also responsible for the programs that gives away the money and resources of America to the already wealthy. The giveaway of money to the select few is more often than not at the expense of the general good and welfare of the masses of people in this nation.
Members of Congress often take long and exotic trips to lands abroad and eat the best in foods and stay in the best of hotels, and best of all, the members of Congress and other officers of public trust, get to stick the people with all of the bill. Many members of Congress cite the reasons for the trips abroad as diplomatic necessity, but a large majority of the excursions are no more than cleverly disguised vacations. As long as the masses of people in America keep allowing the select few to hold power, then the future outlook for government will be for the large scale skimming of public money to continue. It will also continue to remain a fact that the large majority of the people in America will keep paying for the excesses of a small minority of the people.
Skimming of public money continues to take away proper and adequate funding from many important areas, and as a result the concerns and needs of many common people are literally set aside. This is especially true in respect to how disabled Veterans financial needs are set aside.
There can never be enough said about the sacrifices that many servicemen in America have made towards the preservation of the Constitution and what it stands for. The sacrifices and their stories if written into books would easily fill up many large warehouses. There are places all over the world filled with the white markers of American dead that gave the ultimate price for those liberties. Yet when it comes to the Federal government remembering those veterans when they get sick or suffer from problems they got in defense of those ideals - veterans are largely forgotten! While the government continues to satisfactorily meet the veteran's medical needs, the financial needs of the veterans are largely forgotten and put on the back burner when it comes to really helping the veteran.
Veterans of the Armed Forces continue to have their problems with the Federal government. Filing a claim for a service-connected disability can be a real nightmare for the average veteran, as the veteran is facing an uphill administrative battle that is aimed at defeating the veterans claim for the disability. The Veterans Administration states to the veteran that the veteran can have an attorney represent them, but the veteran is restricted from paying the attorney any sum of acceptable money that would allow the attorney to fairly represent the veteran. This works out fine for the Veterans Administration (VA) because they keep a complete legal staff on hand to make the final decisions on what cases to settle. The average veteran is at a legal disadvantage because the veteran does not have that same legal advantage that the VA has.
Unless the paperwork is filed out correctly with just the right legal wording to back the veterans case, the veteran can quickly find themselves in a situation where the VA continually stalls and delays a veterans claim. The stalling tactics can last ten's of years and in many cases the veteran may die before the claim is ever settled, because death most of the time automatically voids out any claim a veterans family might have.
After the claim is finally recognized it will in most cases take the veteran months and even years to collect what they are due. When the Veterans Administration finally does settle the claim with the veteran, the veteran will more than likely not be paid any interest or penalties on the money that is owed to them by the Federal government.
It is quite the opposite when an individual owes the Federal government money. Not only will the Federal government collect interest, but they will also charge hefty penalty fees. This practice is especially true with the Internal Revenue Service and many other government agencies that people can get themselves indebted to. This is another example of how the federal system of government arbitrarily works to deny equal government benefits to the masses of people in America. The common people must pay the Federal government penalties and compounded interest on money that they owe to them, but the government is free to excuse themselves from the obligation to pay the common people any penalties and compounded interest on money that they owe them. That was not an attribute of the type of government America's forefathers had intended for the masses of people in 1776.
Isn't the United States of America supposed to be a country where the people are equal to the government because "We the People" are the government? In 1998, and for over 200 years that has not been the case in America, or else abuses like the one above and in other parts of this book would not be happening over and over, year after year!
The situation with money in this country for the masses of the people is nothing short of a struggle and a hardship. Everything that a person needs by which to just obtain their basic survival level continues to be just slightly out of reach of being adequate. Many times common people must purchase credit money in order to just survive because earnings from the meager jobs that common people have is never enough to meet the increasing demands of the select few for higher profits. Wages in this country paid to the common people in comparison to what the select few pay themselves, is nothing short of a crime against humanity.
There are four very basic requirements that the masses of the people require in their lives, and they are energy, food, shelter, and the desire to know our basis of being as individuals.
Energy is all of the fuel costs that are required and associated with an individuals basic survival requirements. A long time ago the basic requirement for energy survival was the firewood collected and burned by the people for their basic needs. As time grew so did the need and requirement for various other types of energy. This did not go unnoticed to those select few in control, and as a result the basic energy requirements of the people have come to be a controlled resource by those that are in power. As a result of this resource being controlled it has come to be strictly regulated and price controlled to benefit those in power while handicapping the majority of the people.
Energy is therefore controlled and as a result of this control energy
is unnecessarily expensive and inefficient.
What about the situation with food and shelter? They are both controlled
and unnecessarily expensive, especially the requirement for shelter.
Organized religions are what those in power came up with to satisfy the peoples requirement to know the basis and why of their existence. These organized religions are highly controlled by those in power and most if not all require some form of monetary support that for the most part is very expensive. Organized religions were established to satisfy the peoples requirements for knowledge about their existence and as a result of this are very controlling and expensive.
The four basic requirements of the people did not come to be controlled by any mere coincidence or accident. They came to be controlled by those in power, namely federalists, who saw in the four requirements of mankind a method by which large masses of people could be better controlled. This could easily be accomplished through the people's unconscious manipulation of those requirements.
Those in power seem to feel that the masses of people in America and the world are no more than an endless means by which they can expand their financial profits and empires.
The majority of the money in the United States continues to be funneled into the hands of the select few for their exclusive benefit, and this condition will continue as long as federalists are allowed to remain in charge of the government and money of the United States. It is up to the people to say that they have had enough of federalism, and when the people have had enough, it then becomes their responsibility and objective to end the abuses and excesses in government created by the forces of federalism.
Are the people of America ready to grasp the facts that federalism and the power imposed by a select few, has in actuality almost brought this great Nation and the rest of the world to the very brink of bankrupting and destroying itself?
The power and government wielded by the select few, known as federalism, over the last two millenniums, has had more than a fair opportunity to prove itself as an acceptable form of rulership and the report card has just been issued, and federalism has failed as an acceptable form of government that works for the benefit of the masses of people. The masses of people on this planet deserve governments that will work for their benefit, and towards the balance & harmony that is necessary to bringing about the peace & tranquility that the masses of people in America and the world desire and want to have in their lives.
It is time that the people of America were given the ability to be put in charge of their government and they can do this by ridding themselves of federalism, and putting into its place a "republic" that will benefit all of the people, and not continue to benefit just the select few as federalism does.
That statement was part of a speech Meyer London made to Congress on January 18, 1916.
Americans and their government have an important role in the shaping of world attitudes and because of the manner in which the masses of people in the world view America, it becomes the obligation of America to set the best possible example that the world will follow. Can we as Americans really state that our present and past condition is what we want the rest of the world to follow and be like, considering everything that has been presented?
It is our basic duty as Americans, to give to the world a much better example than the one shown in this book and the one that America continues to show to the rest of the world. What "We the People" need to do, is to become a society and a government that will truly lead the rest of the world into the new millennium and beyond, and one that future generations will proudly be able to look back upon. That is the real duty of Americans! Any less than that and America will only become a passing page in the history books of the future, and one that will reveal that we were no better than those societies and governments that came before us.
How do you as a people and as a society want future generations of the world to view the people and government of America?
The Constitution guarantees to the people a "republican form" of government and it is the duty of all Americans To Protect and Defend the Constitution of the United States, and that statement is even more of a duty for those in government that are in positions of public trust. Right about now; considering all that has been presented and also taking into fact all the things that continue to happen in America and the world, just what type of a rating would you and others around you give to the Federal courts, the President, to Congress and to others in offices of public trust who choose to ignore their duty to protect and defend the Constitution and the basic human rights of the people under it?
America, other world governments and societies, many of them Federal governments and others that are not, need to realize that the first and most important responsibility that they have, is to the protection and care of the masses of people under their sphere of protection and influence. That is the first and most important responsibility of any form of government that says it is a government of the people, by the people and for the people. It is also the first principal of any government that considers itself legitimate in the eyes of the people.
The second responsibility of good government is the pivot point of balance for rightful and legitimate government, and it requires that for balance to be stabilized and maintained, that the masses of common people must be represented in their governments, in a manner that is equal to no less than one representative for every 30,000 individuals within their country. The second responsibility has three very important parts that need to be explained.
a. Term limits for members of government holding high and other important offices of public trust must be mandatory. This practice should also be extended to the Justices in the judicial system of government.
b. A system must be set up where every eligible person has an equal and fair opportunity to hold high office within government. Political parties must be abolished in order to prevent the purchasing of important offices and favors within government. Individuals will run and win an office on their own merits at an equal level and decorum of fair play, in a system where the government decides and pays for the expenses of those seriously running for office. Buying political offices needs to become a felony crime that is punishable by a term of no less than 25 straight long-term years.
c. Responsibility for government is an equally shared responsibility of those in government and those that are not in government, namely the masses of people that make up the total population of a country.
The third responsibility to having a government that is rightful and legitimate requires the peoples close attention to the matters of government and requires that they become involved in the affairs of their governments. Becoming involved in the affairs of government requires some serious involvement, and having a government based on the above principals would create a suitable environment to foster a condition where more people would want to become involved in their governments.
Many of the basic principals on whom these responsibilities are based can be found in the original intent of the Constitution and Bill of Rights of the United States of America. The student of the Constitution only has to look into the background writings and history of the original framers to those two documents and the Declaration of Independence, to know that the current American government is not the one our founding fathers and others had planned for the American people to have.
Americans need to start reading about and understanding just how important the Constitution and Bill of Rights are to the masses of people, and that those two documents preserve more than just the basic freedoms and liberties of the people. Those documents were also designed to protect the type and form of government the United States is to have and therefore the preservation of all Natural Rights and Laws, and this was granted in perpetuity to the common people. The Constitution and Bill of Rights were directly designed and written by the forefathers of America to prevent the type of misconstruction of power and abuse of power that has become so commonplace in today's Federal government. Fortunately the forefathers of America foresaw the future dangers and harms that the continuance of federalism might impose on the masses of people and the government of the United States. Because of that, our forefathers empowered the Constitution and the Bill of Rights with the overwhelming authority to grant the power to the common people, to be able to have an effective process in which they, the common people, could effect a peaceful and positive change to their government, if the powers of federalism were ever to endanger or threaten the security and general welfare of the masses of people in American society.
There have been so many formal and informal changes made to the Constitution and Bill of Rights by the powers of federalism, that there is very little left of the original and correct intentions of those two great documents. It would have been much more appropriate for the Constitution and Bill of Rights to have been written in pencil, considering all of the changes that the powers of federalism has and continues to impose on those two great documents.
The facts within history and found elsewhere in society, and the growing social and other related problems in society, are the direct result of the abusive and manipulative powers that have been and continue to be imposed by the forces of federalism. The select few continue to strip away at the rights contained within the Constitution and Bill of Rights and continue to manipulate the money that should belong to the people in the first place, and the select few do all of this for their own benefit and self gain. The remarks made by former President Wooden Wilson have sadly become a stark reality in America, in 1998; "We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world - no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of small groups of dominant men."
The conspiracy of which Wilson also eluded to and as discovered by this author, is a lot more than just a conspiracy, it is and has been, and continues to be, a harsh and cruel reality that has been imposed on the masses of Americans for far to long.
Exactly what the masses of people will do with this information is largely up to them to decide for themselves. The worst and most harmful thing that the common people of America could to, is to ignore the facts and the truths, and proceed on with their lives and do nothing to correct the wrongs being done to them. Doing that would only enslave the people deeper into a situation that will ever increasingly be more difficult for them to remove themselves from. The right and correct decision for the people, is to become involved in this issue of major concern to their well being, and learn that within their voice and their vote, is the power and authority to peacefully change the system of government and money for the betterment of all the people.
Let us, as "We the People," start giving those select few in power some real surprises. As Americans, we can facilitate the necessary changes that in the long run will benefit our lives and our future generations the most. We can best protect and defend America by learning how to protect and defend our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and our government. "We the People" can use our voices and our writing abilities, to demand of those in government, the immediate changes necessary to return this government to its rightful form, a true "republic," and we can insist that rule by only the select few come to an immediate end. If those in Federal government want to resist and don't want to follow the will of the people, then "We the People" can remove those in power by voting in people that will support the common peoples cause. Wouldn't that be a real surprise for both the Republicans and the Democrats!
Anyone that wants to count the numbers up will quickly discover who really has the real power potential in America and it is a power that has the ability to facilitate massive and widespread change. That power and ability to create positive change resides in the vote and voice of the masses of common people in America and it is a power and authority that the select few are silently in constant fear of. Federalism has a very good reason to fear those that oppose what they are and what they represent, because evil has always feared everything that represented and stood for truth and goodness. The power and authority of what is right has always struck fear into the select few and it is a tool that the masses of people in America and the rest of the world have at their disposal.
Are "We the People" of America - ready for the cause and pursuit of protecting and defending America against those select few who keep us, our children and grandchildren slaves to their selfishness and greed?
