In all honesty, I read this book some two and a half months ago and I hardly remember it at all. A nice fast read though. What was it, a hundred pages? A hundred fifty? Mildly entertaining, mildly interesting. Utterly forgettable. It seems like at the time there were humorous moments, smile-provoking images. I can't bring any of them to mind now.

I found this book and Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance on the same shelf at the library, in non-fiction, travel books, North America. Amazing that two books as different as this one and that one should be so close to each other in the library. But I suppose, ostensibly, they were both about journeys. Journeys on opposite ends of the spectrum, but journeys nonetheless.
