It should be noted that the "People" referred to in the title are the Canadian people. Once you take that into account, this book will make much more sense. It's not a book about hockey so much as it's a book about Canadian hockey. Which is fine, and I should have anticipated that. And I'm fine with that, because even though I'm an American I understand that hockey is much more wrapped up in the culture of our neighbors to the north.
Beautifully put together. Great photos. It only took me so long to read it because I would only read five or ten pages per day. I may have even had to return it to the library at some point because it was due and someone else had a hold on it and I had to check it out again to finish it, I don't remember.
