Funny. But not clever. The formula got old after only a few pages, and there's no way I would have continued on if it hadn't been so short overall. Plus it came highly recommended by a person very close to me, and I didn't want to hurt her feelings.
Even after reading it I'm still not sure if the author is really a Republican or is actually a Democrat using satire to mock Republicans. It doesn't really matter; the man is an entertainer first and foremost. If anybody really makes their political decisions based on something a comedian says or writes, that is a sorry state to be in indeed.
