Pretty good. Thoroughly enjoyable. Nicely painted picture of 19th century Britain. Informative depiction of the origins of the Oxford English Dictionary.
I need to write a complete sentence, instead of a string of fragments. That's better. (Now that's worse.) Just wandering around the non-fiction at Shoreview, this book sparked my interest and I gave it the old college try. I was glad I did. I'm not sure if I received any kind of lasting impression, but it was an entertaining and enlightening read for a week or so and what more can you ask of a book?
