Excellent. Definitely my favorite Hesse book so far, but that's not saying a whole lot since I haven't gotten much out of Steppenwolf or Demian. I guess I got enough out of those first two to make me want to read a third. And since I've been interested in Buddhism this last year, Siddhartha made sense. Not really any more enlightening to me than Buddha by Deepak Chopra was, but a better read as entertainment. Elegant, simple voice. This reads like the Bible.
