Fun. Entertaining. Silly. That's all that can be asked of P.G. Wodehouse, and that's enough. I had been hoping for years to read the Jeeves and Wooster books in order, so that everything was introduced in the proper order and such. Didn't happen, because I can't find the first book anywhere. The libraries don't have it. I haven't been able to find it at used book stores, even in multi-novel volumes. So I dove in in the middle. That was unfortunate, especially here where so much from previous novels was referred to. It didn't take away from the plot in this novel, but it would have been nice to know the backstory.
