I'm not much of a fan of the crime fiction style of novel. Or, didn't think I was. This may have changed my mind. I wouldn't have thought that simple action was enough to make me like a book, but this seems to have done that. It had a little bit of a thoughtful side, but it seems like it was there just for the critics. And I don't think it needed it. The action was spectacular. If this isn't a movie, over there in Japan, it's a shame.

And how about the jacket design! Chip Kidd at his finest. I didn't realize it was Chip Kidd until I was already half way though, and was pleasantly surprised to see his name back there. Slick. Japanese.
