Monday

It took about an hour and forty-five minutes today. They were showing the last part of "Twister" and the first part of "Happy Gilmore" while I was there, both of which were movies I had seen before.

They put iodine on the inside of your arm, opposite the elbow, just before they stick you. Just like when you give blood. I don't know what the purpose is. But you end up with a big yellow stain for the rest of the day. They put a bandage on you also, over the wound, but they have these cheap plastic generic brand bandages that don't adhere to you at all. Might just be the iodine. But when I get home I put on a fabric bandage, which works better. Not that I need it there. I don't bleed. I just feel better, I guess.
