The machine next to mine today had something go wrong with it, a kink in a tube or a reservoir or something. I'm not sure how it works. But the chick that had been hooked up to it for about two minutes was disconnected and had to leave because she had given some blood that they couldn't give her back. They paid her the full amount for the plasma, because it was the center's fault, not hers.

I want to cut back to going to the plasma place only once a week instead of twice. But the incentive for going twice a week is too great. If I go once a week, that's twenty bucks a week. If I go twice a week, it's worth twice as much money, $47. So I'm torn. Perhaps I'll go Monday and Friday one week, then skip the next week, then Monday and Friday again, etc. We'll see what happens when classes start again in four weeks.
