I brought a buddy of mine to the plasma place today so he could be a first time donor and I could get the referral bonus. I think it was ten bucks or something. But it turned out not to matter because upon examination they discovered that his veins wouldn't pop out -- whatever that means -- so he couldn't donate. He said he had forgotton about that: that when he's donated blood for the Red Cross before they've always had trouble finding his veins. So that was too bad. Especially since I was already back and hooked up before he learned this, so there was nothing for him to do but wait for me to be done. Poor guy. I felt bad.
