I have a lab on Monday afternoons such that I can't get out of school usually until 5:30. This means I can't get to the plasma place till 5:45 at the earliest. Such as this time. And although the lobby wasn't packed, things seemed to go slower than usual even with my preferential top-priority rabies-shot status. I didn't get out of there until 8:15.

Not only do I have that lab on Mondays, but the rest of the day is also not plasma-donor friendly. I'm in classes from 9:15 AM until the aforementioned lab get out at 5:30. This makes it difficult to have anything to eat during the day, which in itself is no big deal to me. But for plasma donating they tell you to eat a good low-fat meal and have plenty of liquids before coming in. I did none of these things, since I had no opportunity during my breakneck schedule. We'll see what we can do to circumnavigate this problem in the future.

The rabies shots are exclusively on Mondays, which is why this is an issue. At least, they are until I'm done with the first five; I'm not sure about after that. We'll see.
