It seems like the more people there are in the main lobby/waiting area when you go into the plasma place, the faster your visit will be. I know, this seems backwards, but that seems to be how it is. These are conclusions based on my observations. Take them with a grain of salt.

Today, for example, the lobby was only about a third full. Nevertheless, it took a long time. Oh well, I had nothing better to do. The phlebotomist -- or however the heck it's spelled/pronounced -- that stuck me today was the same guy that stuck me the last two times. That's never happened before.
