Thursday, May 18th, 20064:44 A.M.I forgot one of the cardinal rules of running in my neighborhood from last fall. Do not run south of Cedar Avenue on Thursdays. Another cardinal rule is do not run north of Cedar Avenue on Wednesdays, which is fine because I don't ordinarily run on Wednesdays anyway. Thursday is trash day south of Cedar. (Wednesday, north.) Running in the morning, when everybody has their trash out at the curb, sometimes stinks. It wasn't too bad this morning, but I was lucky. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way. |
