When unwanted sound is realeased into the atmosphere it is called Noise Pollution.
Sources of Noise Pollution :-
Noise is not only a nuisance but it is also a health hazard. The sounds emitted from the automobiles, trains & aeroplanes are it's main sources. The sound emitted from the loud speakers during religious & social ceremonies are also the main sources. Loud speakers are a big way of experssing ritual favour in India. Loud speakers wars between temples and mosques have sparked many communal riots in India.
