OBJECTIVE
A challenging position in engineering management area that both utilise technical knowledge and managerial skills
My Expertises are Implementing QS-9000 Quality System and Providing training courses in QS-9000 and Continuous Improvement-related, including Six Sigma, The Balanced Scorecard.. I had been working hand-in-hand with clients in Thailand and China to develop their Quality Management Systems according to Automotive standard: QS-9000, APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA and OEM's specific Standards.
- Monitored Overall QS-9000 Implementation Process to be finished within given timeframe.
- Guided clients' APQP team through 5 phases and reviewed GYR Status reports of APQP Process with clients before being evaluated by OEMs.
- Participated in client's Failure Mode Effect Analysis Team.
- Reviewed Control Plan, FMEA, MSE (measurement System Evaluation) Result.
- Assisted in filing PSW (PPAP) package of newly-launched parts
- Helped clients to identify measure to control Special Characteristics given by OEMs and consider internal Special/Significant Characteristics.
- Implemented Continuous Improvement Program, defined basic Result and Process Measurables according to Ford's QOS Approach.
- Trained Internal Quality Audit and developed IQA Program & Audit Trail to the clients.
- Planned and implemented plant-wide Statistical Process Control : X bar-R chart and Cpk Studies.
- Developed excel-based software showing graphical result of X bar-R Chart.
- Trained MSA and designed MSA Schedule to be aligned with the existing client's Calibration Schedules.
- Wrote software for calculating GRR (Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility), Bias & Linearity, Stability with numerical and graphical result.
- Helped clients to restructure their Organization Manpower and Departmental Structure to be in-line with QS-9000 Quality System Standard.
- Provided input for drafting client's Business Plans.
- Established Customer Satisfaction Programs and Benchmarking in client's system.
- Established Document and Data Control System and Engineering Change Notification Handling including Ford's SREA system.
- Launched the Subcontractor Development Program and Award Program to build up the Quality System for tier 2, 3 suppliers
- Organized the client's Tooling department to be in line with Tooling Management requirement and near-coming standard TE9000.
- Upgraded System Document (Procedures and Work Instructions) that subjected to be changed upon the new-released of AIAGs' QS-9000 (March 1998 edition).
- Prepared list of System Document (Procedures and Work Instructions) that subjected to be changed and rewritten for client who had been certified with ISO 9000 and wanted to upgrade their system to QS-9000.
- Adjusted client's existing MRP systems to be capable for Production Planning, Electronic Communication, Delivery Scheduling System as requested by OEMs.
- Developed Cause-Effect table to quickly analyze "Out of Control" condition and low Cpk and interpret Control Chart.
- Created Relationship Table matching Cpk with responding Occurrence Degree and Defective PPM to facilitate working with Process FMEA.
- Guided clients to get their laboratory system up to ISO guide 25.
- Interpreted OEM's Standards (namely :- Ford's, GM's, Mazda's, Toyota's, Mitzubishi's, Honda's, Isuzu's and others) to be included in Working Procedures and Work Instructions and effectively prepare PSW package.

- Supervised the installation of new burners at electric arc furnace resulting in a 25 % reduction in melting time.
- Organized quality control Activity by motivating and training foreman, capable in fulfilling 100 % employee involvement.
- Effectively implemented the new sliding gate system, leading to 33 % reduction of set up time.
