Edweirdo's Oakland Raiders Report |
What I look for in those games is the QB that looks for other receivers than the one he threw to all season.
I look for the DE that is playing against players he has never played against and still getting the job done despite double teams or the fact he's getting no support from the rest of his line.
I watch for the saftey that takes charge of the defensive backfield, reading the offense and pointing out to the other db's what the play is.
I keep an eye for the linebacker that follows the play, has good pursuit and wraps the guy up rather than bumping with his shoulder.
I look for the running back playing behind a new offensive line and still finding holes and calling for his blocks.
That's the one thing about "All Star" college games. One has a chance to see some of these athletes outside their comfort zone and we can see if they adapt or if they crumble.
The players that rely heavily on team mates, I have a bit of trouble with. They have a comfort zone and don't seem to be willing to work outside that box.
