        This story takes place in the fictional realm of Sailor Moon. It also involves knowledge of Green Lantern (another of my obsessions). You don't need to know anything about him to read the fic. However, if you would like to learn more about him, just hop over to my comics page.

        Well, it all began in high school, as I sat in my living room waiting for the bus. Channel 11 showed an obscure (at the time) cartoon called Sailor Moon. Pre-college feminist that I was, I hated it.

        I thought Serena was shallow, immature, and the show was ridiculously sexist. It colored my perceptions of Anime for a while.

        But then I saw the light. It was college. I learned about the horrible dubbing of Dic. I began to read the Manga's, translations on the internet, anything I could find that would help me understand it.

        Then I remembered what I was like at 14. Sailor Moon wasn't sexist. How would you feel if you were an ordinary 14 year old girl who was told to fight evil and then watch your friends die? Not fun.

        So I started to like this world created by a woman an ocean away. And I wrote a fan fic about it.
