SD 236810.14 - An explosion occurs on family farm in Scotland; Mother, Father, Brother (Stephen), Sister (Shauna) die in the incident while Brian is teaching Arthur farming methods. News soon spreads and Brian and Arthur receive needed help from neighbours and friends of the family. Brian continues to teach and care for Arthur.

SD 236901.xx - Arthur joins StarFleet Academy, but decides it does not offer enough adventure, and becomes an Ambassador. Brian does not hear from Arthur for many months, and this has an impact on him.
