Article 1
Name and Domicile
Section 1. This science club shall be known as the "SPECIAL SCIENCE CLASS MOTHER SCIENCE CLUB" hereinafter referred to as the "EPHYSCIENCE".
Section 2. Ephyscience shall be a scientific, non-political, and non-secretarian organization of science club in the Special Science Class, Iloilo National High School.
Article II
Purposes
Section 1. The primary purpose of the Ephyscience is to promote public understanding of science, technology and environment, with the following specific objectives to wit.
To encourage the creative and inventive activities among the science club members that will contribute to the school's progress and development.
To encourage the exchange of ideas and cooperation among science club members.
To provide leadership in school and community development with emphasis on science activities.
To promote environmental consciousness among science club members.
Article III
Membership
Section 1. Membership in Ephyscience shall be classified as Regular members.
Section 2. Regular members are the respective science club members of different year levels whose names have been registered with the Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs and who shall paid their annual membership fees in accordance with Affiliation Guidelines promulgated from time to time by the Board of Trustees of the PSYSC.
Article IV
Special Science Class, Iloilo National High School
Section 1. The SSC, INHS shall be the chief executive, operating and administrative body of the Ephyscience and shall have the following functions and responsibility to wit:
To execute, implement and coordinate the various programs and activities of the Ephyscience.
To coordinate and monitor projects and activities of the Ephyscience and all its members.
To formulate and recommend programs, projects and other matters for approval of the school.
Whenever necessary, to call upon meetings of the Science Club Members of different year levels.
To create committees of special purposes.
To perform such other functions and responsibilities as provided for in this By-Laws and as many properly be assigned/delegated from time to time by the school.
Section 2. There shall be a set of officers composed of fourteen (14) members elected by the Student Body during the election and two science teachers appointed by the head of the school shall be known as the advisers of the club. The members of the Student Body shall immediately elect from among themselves the following officers in their respective hierarchal sequence:

Section 3. All members of the Ephyscience shall have the following qualifications:
They must be a high school student of the Iloilo National High School-Special Science Class (INHS-SSC).
They must have shown genuine interest in the advancement of science, technology and environment in the school and community.
Section 4. Except hereinafter provided, all members and officers of the Science Club shall be elected by the (1) re-election or until respective successors shall have been duly elected and qualified into office.
Section 5. The respective functions, powers, duties and responsibilities of the officers of the Ephyscience are the following:
(a) President shall be the Chairman/Presiding Officer of the Science Mother Club and shall be the Chief Executive officer of the Ephyscience. Subject to the policies and guidelines of the school, he shall perform all functions of management relating to the operations of the club as well as implement all instructions/function as maybe assigned/delegated to him from time to time by the school.
(b) Vice President shall have primary responsibilities of assuming functions and responsibilities of the President in case of absence, incapacity or resignation of the latter. He shall likewise perform such functions and responsibilities as may assign from time to time by the President or the adviser.
(c) Secretary shall keep all records of the Ephyscience Meetings. He shall likewise make documentations of the Ephyscience matters and activities.
(d) The secretary shall initiate the affiliation campaign and keep all papers pertient therein. He shall take charge of keeping all correspondents with the various year level club members; inform them of the various activities, programs and projects of the Ephyscience and the PSYSC.
(e) Finance Officers composed of the treasurer and the assistant treasurer shall be the chief disbursing officer/s of all money and other assets received by the Ephyscience. He must prepare all liquidation reports and financial statements for submission. At the start of his term, the Financial Officer/s should pass a bond to answer for whatever financial irregularities, that he might commit during his term.
(f) Auditor shall audit the financial statement of the Ephyscience regularly.
(g) Public Relation Officer shall be responsible for popularizing the aims and objectives of the Ephyscience and its programs and projects through all possible means. He shall be responsible for the organization of the Ephyscience, whose members are subject to the approval of the school and the student body.
(h) Muse and Escort must be the model students for science and other related filed in the campus.
(i) The advisers shall be composed of two science teachers who will monitor, facilitate, advice and manage the activities of the science clubs for the progress of science related programs of the school.
Article V
Year Level Clubs
Section 1. There shall be a science club in every year level namely: STAR - SCI for the first year, BIOTECHNOCRAZE for the second year, PHLOGISTONfor the third year, and ELECTROSTATICS for the fourth year.
Section 2. The year level clubs shall be composed of such members and officers as may be approved and elected by the students.
Section 3. All members of the clubs shall have a term of one (1) year or until their successors have been duly elected/appointed and qualified into office.
Section 4. These year level clubs shall have powers, functions and responsibilities as may be assigned and delegated from time to time by the Mother Science Club also known as the Ephyscience.
Article VI
Meetings and Assemblies
Section 1. Regular Meetings
(a) The Science Clubs shall hold a minimum of six (6) meetings a year at such day, time, and place as may be agreed upon. Notive and agenda of regular meetings shall be given at least one week prior to the scheduled date of every meeting.
Section 2. Special Meetings
(a) Special Meetings of the Mother Science Club and Year Level Clubs may be called by their respective Presidents or by majority of their respective memners any time upon day notice to take up such matters as urgently necessary.
Section 3. Quorum
(a) The presence of two-thirds (2/3) of the total number of officers and members shall constitute a quorum in any of their meeting.
Section 4. Voting
(a) Each representative shall be entitled to one (1) vote.
Section 5. Any member of the Science Clubs shall attend at least three-fourths (3/4) of the total number of regular meetings.
Article VII
Instructional Relationship
Section 1. The Mother Science Club recognizes STAR SCI, BIOTECHNOCRAZE, PHLOGISTON and ELECTROSTATICS as its partner in the promotion of science consciousness throughout the Special Science Class, Iloilo National High School.
Section 2. The STAR SCI, BIOTECHNOCRAZE, PHLOGISTON and ELECTROSTATICS shall be maintained as the year level science club of the Ephyscience.
Article VIII
Miscellaneous Provisions
Section 1. The Ephyscience will work out plans toward the establishment of a foundation, which shall be registered with the Iloilo National High School - Special Sciene Class.
Section 2. All records of Ephyscience shall be open for inspection during reasonable class hours to any member of Ephyscience.
Section 3. This Constitution and By-Laws or any part thereof may be amended through the recommendation of the Star Sci, Biotechnocraze, Phlogiston and Electrostatics with the final ratification by the Ephyscience officers.
Section 4. The Fiscal Year of the Ephyscience shall start on the first day of class in June and ends on the last day of school in March of each year and every year.
Section 5. The Ephyscience shall adapt its own seal, logo, hymn, and other insignia subject to the approval of its members.
Section 6. This By-Laws shall take effect immediately.
