Ce'Nedra
The daughter of Ran Borune XXIII and the Dryad Ce'Vanne, Ce'Nedra was an Imperial Tolnedran princess. Wilfull and headstrong she ran away from home at 15 to avoid being sent to Riva in accordance with the Accords of Vo Mimbre. However, this resulted in her travelling with Garion and his companions in their quest for the Orb and, although she was left behind at Prolgu while they went to Rak Cthol, she was forced to go to Riva where she found out that she was actually betrothed to Garion. When he then crept away to face Torak she was at first mortally insulted, but then, inaccordance with the prophecy, travelled through the Kingdoms of the West, amassing an army with which to distract the Angaraks and allow Garion to get to Cthol Mishrak.
Later married to Garion they had a son whom they named Geran. He was stolen by the sorceress Zandramas to fulfill the dark prophecy but, after the seer Cyradis chose against the dark prophecy, he was restored to his mother. Prior to her sons birth the bear cult made a number of attempts on Ce'Nedra's life, considering her to be polluting the Rivan line.
Ce'Nedra and Garion had a least one more child, a daughter whom they named Beldaran. Ce'Nedra's Dryad heritage meant that her life, like Garion's, would be much longer than that of a normal human. It also gave her a perculiar affinity for trees
The Rivan Queen could be somewhat temperamental and emotional, even driving away her closest friends, Adara and Ariana and often causing her to pick fights with her husband. Around her neck lies an amulet which belonged to Polgara's sister, Beldaran. It could not be removed but gave the wearer the power to listen into conversations many miles away.
