The Pan-Messinian Association of Toronto fall dinner/dance was held on Saturday, November 25th, 2006.
The Pan Messinian Association of Toronto operates a successful dance program every year, running three separate groups (according to age). The success of the program can be seen in the dedication, enthusiasm and abilities of the senior dancers; youths and young adults who not only perform in Toronto, but who have travelled and performed throughout Canada, the US and Greece.
Through Messinia, dancers learn about the rich traditions and culture that characterize Greece, both in the Peloponnese and beyond. Its members learn dances, songs, and gain information that hopefully will spark a lifelong quest and love and respect for Greek traditional dance.
