Here's to the best year of my life...

As most of you know, the RENT line was a huge bonding experience for many of us, and close friendships were formed from it. This page is devoted to my fellow Line Queens and our line experiences , our roadtrips, and outings.

Me and Melissa waiting on line for the 3/28/97 show

Eva's b-day party on the line for Daphne's last

Cool pic of Eve lying on the line for Daph's last show

The RENT Dome...hey, when it rains, ya do what ya gotta do.

Colleen and Christina with crap imitation slurpees
We searched the entire midtown area for some sort of substitution for a slurpee since there are no 7-11's in Manhattan. We found the crap Colleen and Chris are holding. They sucked. And yes, that is Fredi in the corner, coming up the block. She actually smiled at us.

A firetruck once pulled up to the theatre and firemen (cute ones at that) went inside to inspect it. Eva and Sasha decided they wanted to see the firetruck. The firemen showed them inside the truck and let them wear the hats. We all grabbed for our cameras. :-) See pic

We spent 3 days on the line for Idina's last. It was our last line together. Little did we know that 2 weeks later, the line would not exist. They were painting the theatre while we were waiting for Idina's last, so we had to move across the street to the New Amsterdam. See pic of the line on da steps of the New Amsterdam.

The day of Jesse's last show, Catherine, Melly, Christina and I took a little trip to the Museum of Natural History just for the hell of it. With RENT on the brain, we posed with random displays that reminded us of RENT people. Here are 2 of the funniest ones...

May - Roadtrip to Boston to see the tour. Not a pleasant journey at all. Actually the time in the CAR was fine. Being in Boston was not. See review

BOSTON PICS:

Me and Melly freezing our asses off

Waking up and having bagels "Santa Fe" style

All of us NY people on the Boston line

In July, six of us psychos took a lovely roadtrip to Muskegon, Michigan to see Gilles in CHESS at the Cherry County Playhouse. We actually had a wonderful time driving the 32 hours roundtrip. Never once were we bored. Here's a review of the trip

SOME MICHIGAN PIX:

Catherine and Melly in front of the Cherry County Playhouse, where CHESS was playing.

The marquee of the Playhouse with Gilles' name on it

Dona, James, Catherine, Greg, and I in da Muskegon restuarant

The skechy Pennysylvania Days Inn we stopped in on our drive home
There was one bed against the wall, mattress on the floor, leak in the roof, tarp on the floor...pathetic.

All us line queens at Fridays for Eva and Erin's good-bye party
