WE ARE |
| We are a group of Christians of various ages, denominations, backgrounds,
coming from different parts of the world. What unites us is our faith in
Jesus Christ and our commitment to see each other the way God sees us -
equal, regardless of gender, race, or class. |
| HISTORY |
| ECA began in May of 1999 as we started running a message board for
debating and discussing issues related to gender equality. Since then,
we have welcomed new people into our cyber-community, we have grown, and
have attempted to define our vision. |
| OUR PURPOSE |
| What, then, is our purpose here? Forst and foremost, it is to
reflect the character of Our Savior, Jesus Christ, in all that we do.
And here is what we are trying to do at this moment:

Pray for and support bible-believing egalitarian Christian organizations
and individuals in their mission of teaching Biblical equality worldwide.

Provide places for egalitarian Christians to fellowship, exchange news
and resources, and learn egalitarian apologetics.

Create a support network for Christians who are practicing biblical equality.

Seek out and make contacts with other Christian egalitarian groups and
individuals whose beliefs are consistent with our statement
of identity.

Equip and empower Christians to carry the the gospel to the postmodern
world.
