Point of No Return It has been a month in earth final conflict time since dark horizons. The mother ship has just entered earth's orbit. The taleons have 21 hours to live. All Jaridians are also near death. The scene is perfect for a season finale. Liam contacts Hubble. Hubble orders Liam and Renee off the mother ship. Hubble then threatens to blow up the mother ship using nuclear weapons. Liam and Renee visit Street and discover that she is on the verge of solving the 8th dimension of Ma'el's riddle. However, Street refuses to continue saying that the riddle almost got Liam and Renee killed. Fortunately, for the Taleons, Street could not get Ma'el's riddle out of her mind. While she was dancing, the solution for the 8th dimension hit her. Suddenly a ray of light erupted and all of earth shone. The Taleons saw the light and knew their salvation was at hand. After contacting Street, Liam traveled in search of the source of light. He came upon a volcano where he found a portal that took him to Ma'el's regeneration chamber. Liam discovered that the chamber actually belonged to the Atavus who came 8 million years before Ma'el. Since the Taleons are related to the Atavus, Liam figured that they may be compatable with the energy from the regeneration chamber. As Liam attempted to leave the chamber he discovered that the portal was a one way portal only. Liam also activated the chamber thereby activating the volcano. Liam is trapped and the volcano is on the verge of exploding. |
In the meantime, Vorjak and 6 other Jardians are traveling through space. Vorjak is waiting for a signal. And he get's it. Sandavol portals Vorjak and the others onto the mothership. Sandoval traps the Jardians and tells them that he will only free them if they promise not to story earth when the come. Instead, Sandoval asks that the Jardians to dominate earth and give him absolute rule. The Jardians agree. While this is going on, Augur and Street travel to the volcano while Renee travels to the mother ship. She informs Da'an about Liams find. The regeneration chamber contains 6 places. Renee tells Da'an that he must chose who will live and who will die. Unable to make this choice, Da'an comes up with an alternative. He could combine the entire conciousness of the commonality into 6 members. Unfortuanately, Zo'or overhears. Refusing to combine his conciouness, Zo'or instead steals energy from some Taleons and tells Da'an that he will find his own way. Meanwhile Da'an accompanies Renee to the volcano and attempts tet disagreed. She told Da'an that her and Liam are the only two people that can solve the 9th dimension. Liam and Street then touch the relic and the 6 chambers open up. While this is going on, Vorjak and his followers are trying to get off the mothership. Most of the energy from the mothership is drained. Hubble is firing nuclear warheads at the mothership. While running for the portal, Sandovol is injured in an explosion. The Jardians leave him behind. It appears as though Sandoval is dead. |
The Jardians portal into the chamber. The volcano is about to explode. Vorjak tells Da'an that his people will use the chamber and then kill the Taleons. However, at this time, Liam looks at Zo'or and realizes that both species need to regenerate together. "Look at your enemy Vorjak - That is what will happen to you if you regenerate with the Atavus alone!" |
Both Taleons and Jardians realize that they must return to their origins. That they must join and become the Atavus. 1 Taleon and 1 Jaridian each enter a chamber. Da'an and Vorjak enter one together. "We have survived to the end of our kind Da'an. What now?" says Vorjak. "We will move forward," says Da'an. As the chambers are closing Liam realizes that he must see this through to the end. Street wants to stay with him but Liam tells her to go. "It's a one way portal - only for me," he says. Street relucantly leaves with Augur and Renee. As the chambers close, the volcano explodes.
