Letterrips from 1999
To name one of the twins after Stephanie was the best idea the writers had. Stephanie is one of my favorite characters on the show. Thanks again writers, once again you have outdone yourselves!!
I believe Eric and Stephanie should be together as a family stabilizer.
I have always enjoyed the writing of B&B and I had faith that the writers would put Taylor and Ridge together, and they did. Now I'm putting my faith in the writers to put Thorne and Macy together in a real relationship. Match Brooke up with someone who has the same evil characteristics she has - Clarke Garrison. And please reunite Eric and Stephanie. Thank you!
Just read Letterrip and am glad to see that other B&B fans can see that Susan Flannery deserves an Emmy this year. How can she be ignored? If you need help in picking the best episodes to submit on her behalf, my friends and I are ready with some suggestions. I have always felt Miss Flannery is probably one of the best, if not the best actress on daytime TV (Susan Lucci who? - she can't hold a candle to Susan Flannery's skills). Keep up the good work.
Eric and Stephanie getting back together was great, and the Fall Fashion show with the Spectra's was, too. It was about time! B&B fan forever...
Thank you for letting Taylor, Ridge and their daughters be a happy family. I'm glad that Stephanie and Eric are married, I believe that they truly love each other.
Lauren will be heartbroken when she finds out about Eric and Stephanie's remarriage!
I am very happy with the Ridge Taylor pairing and the fact they are finally happy. I am also happy with Eric and Stephanie's remarriage. Thanks B&B for doing the right thing regarding these couples.
If this is such a close family, where were Felicia and Kristin when Stephanie was in the hospital and when their parents finally remarried?
I think none of the men on the show are romantic because of how they have been acting in these last couple of months. But if I had to choose I would choose Eric because he has been acting nice and kind to Stephanie since she has came back from the hospital.
BRAVO! The scene in which Stephanie gets Brooke to give her a pedicure finally imbues Stephanie's character with the first signs of humor and spice since her stroke.
Why should Brooke and Thorne be miserable? Ridge is happy with Taylor and Eric is going to be happy with Stephanie.
Stephanie is now a saint? Give me a break. They've all woven their wicked webs of lies, deceit, etc. Stephanie is finally getting Eric back...Ridge is finally happy with his precious Taylor...let Thorne and Brooke finally be happy, too, with each other!
I've been waiting 8 years, and today my hopes were realized when Eric and Stephanie married again. Of course, I didn't foresee the stroke or the marriage in the hospital bed, but it was a joyous day nevertheless.
The show has been really great lately, especially the storylines involving Stephanie Forrester. She's been all over the map this season and I love it! Stephanie is my favorite character on the show and it's because of Susan Flannery's superb acting, which just keeps getting better and better. If she's not at least nominated for an Emmy the next time out, there is no justice in the world. I just love her and felt compelled to come here and add my name to what I am sure is a very long list of her fans. The scenes in the cabin were awesome, but the scenes since the stroke have been some of her very best work. They're so good I just want to clap! Today's show, with the whole family in Stephanie's hospital room and Eric's touching proposal was wonderful. Keep up the great work and go Susan!
Thank you writers for Stephanie and Eric's beautiful wedding. It was so emotional. I couldn't control myself! The whole week was wonderful, except for Eric and Brooke's confrontation. I can understand both sides, but isn't Thorne being a little cowardly dragging his feet when Macy' doesn't have a clue? I am totally against Thorne and Brooke. I don't see the point of it. The scene where Eric married Stephanie was beautiful. I don't like Brooke's character. She has no morals. Overall, I love the show.
First, I would like to say that I really love the show, but Eric and Stephanie really need to get a life and let their grown son, Thorne, make his own decisions about his love life. They should just be happy that he finally found love and happiness with Brooke! Stephanie and Eric had a beautiful wedding despite the setting. Stephanie was a beautiful radiant bride. I almost cried.
What happened to Lauren, and how is she taking Eric's marriage to Stephanie?
I have been watching B&B for years now. Seeing that Stephanie has had a stroke and her and Eric are about to be remarried. Have you all forgotten about their daughters. The show has many strong Christian and family values. I think that a visit from the daughters would be great right about know.
Thank you: Thank You: for the best shows you have had. The proposal and wedding (Eric & Stephanie’s) were awesome. I was spellbound and this was great acting and so moving and touching. They should win awards for these shows. The writing and acting were great. Eric and Stephanie are so great together. Way to go. The only thing that would have topped would have been if Macy and Thorne had wed at the same time. They definitely belong together. Great shows.
The scenes between Eric and Stephanie when Eric professed his love were so beautifully acted - very believable, touching and sincere. Bravo to two wonderful actors- not all actors have to be young and buff. These two are like a fine, fine wine to be savored and enjoyed. How about a couple of Emmys for Susan and John?
Eric and Stephanie are great together, thank you for putting them together again. Hope it will last this time!
Is this the last time Eric and Stephanie will be married - this is what Three or Four times now! Whatever it is - I hope it's happy and the last.
We are truly Katherine Kelly Lang fans. We didn't pay much attention this week to the storyline, with the young crowd and all, but when Stephanie sat up to go home, we started to pay attention. We weren't exactly rooting for her, if you know what I mean. But, by the end of Susan Flannery´s performance we had tears streaming down our faces. It is a real tribute to Susan Flannery that she can take Stephanie's sworn enemies and grip them by the neck and make them empathetic towards her. We all felt her desperation, and we are on Brooke's side!! If she is ignored for her performance this week by the Emmy people, it is clear that they do not consider B&B at all. Her acting was the absolute BEST, and we salute Susan Flannery!
Hi, please don't let Stephanie die. (Unless Ms. Flannery no longer wants to play the role). The entertainment industry hands out some kind of award every week and I think it's time they handed one out to someone who really deserves one for fine acting. And the winner is - Susan Flannery. She is one terrific actress. Please let Stephanie live.
Please don't kill Stephanie! She holds the show together. Brooke and Thorne have been so selfish, they knew it was dangerous to tell Stephanie about their affair, but they did it anyway. I hate Brooke. She is scheming and controlling and always plays the victim.
To all of those sappy romantics out there who thought Ridge and Eric were being unfair about Thorne and Brooke - I hope you are happy now that the best character on the show is "dead!" Now hopefully they can pull a soap opera trick and it will turn out that Stephanie's not really dead. The show would be weakened without her leading the company and fighting with Brooke.
I was very disappointed with today show and if Stephanie dies, I will not be watching Bold and the Beautiful anymore. I've been a fan since the beginning.
Absolutely wonderful episodes and great performances by Winsor Harmon, Katherine Kelly Lang, Nancy Sloan and the absolutely wonderful Susan Flannery. Kudos to all.
Please do not kill my girl Stephanie off the show! She's the reason why the Forrester family is close knit!! Please just put her in a coma for a week!
I am very disappointed in today's show (11/12/99), I am about to give you guys an ultimatum. If Stephanie Forrester dies, you will lose me and many other people who are viewers of your show. WE SIMPLY WILL NOT CONTINUE TO WATCH "The Bold and the Beautiful"! My friends/family and I all agree that having Stephanie Forrester dead is a BIG mistake. So many people like her and believe that she has a huge significance on the show. Without Stephanie, the show would be nothing. Fans' opinions do count first right? And I advise that you keep Stephanie alive and well on the show (also do not have another person portray the
character of Stephanie Forrester, keep the same person) if yon want to keep your show on the air. Right now, "The Bold and The Beautiful" is a well liked show, let's keep it that way.
After being home ill this week I got caught up. Friday I almost fell off the chair when the show closed with Eric saying Stephanie was dead. How can you do this? She is the reason you are so popular! I was a mother that was put through things with a tramp and I understand a mother feeling that way. I agree it is sick, sick, sick to have Thorne & Brooke together.
Please, do not remove Stephanie from the show, I beg you…
I just wanted to give a big thumbs up to the writing staff of Bold & The Beautiful. I have seen an enormous improvement in the writing! I must say that Friday's cliffhanger with Stephanie was absolutely awesome! I have never seen anything that wonderful written in the longest time ;-) Great job and keep up the wonderful and beautiful work!!!
I've calmed myself down and wiped the tears from my face. Please, do not let Stephanie die. She is the matriarch of the Forrester family. Shame on Thorne for being an extremely selfish, uncaring son. He and Brooke deserve one another as they are self-centered people.
I think Stephanie Forrester is an excellent actress. I have been watching your show for 3 years now and I love it. I think Stephanie is the backbone of the Forrester family. Please don't ever let her character really die! Nothing is better than seeing her go at it with Brooke Logan.
I wanted to tell you that Friday's show with Stephanie and Thorne, I called my mother and told her Stephanie was dead. Boy did you guys trick me today. That was very good. I was very impressed on how you left us hanging like that.
Thank heavens that you didn’t kill off Stephanie! My heart stopped on Friday’s cliff-hanger when Stephanie died. I thought it was it for my favourite character. You had me fooled there, I admit it. Thank god it was only a nightmare. I was so relieved when Thorne woke up sweaty in his car to find out it was only a bad dream. I could never imagine B&B without Susan Flannery as Stephanie. Good work, B&B!
For the hundreds of times that I´ve wanted to wring the writers necks… and complained about it… it's only FAIR that I write for both my husband and myself and say BRAVO!!! YOU HAD US GOING ALL WEEKEND ABOUT STEPHANIE... We were about to attack the TV today when it turned out to all be a DREAM :) Of course the TV heard a few choice words at the moment but SOB... was that a great storyline... again BRAVO!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
If the actress who plays Stephanie Forrester does not get nominated for an Emmy for this year's work, then something is seriously wrong. Her performances have been outstanding since the episode of Stephanie in the cabin with Brooke. I write on behalf of many fans in Maryland and Delaware who feel she is a superb actress and we enjoy her immensely. I truly hope she is somehow considered for an Emmy nomination. She certainly deserves it! -Janice Carreras and friends
