Letterrips from 2000
I want to give a compliment to Susan Flannery (Stephanie). These days she looks so youthful and bright. There is definitely something different and all I can say is, "You go, girl!"
Kudos to all actors and actresses in the show, especially Stephanie and Brooke. They are the best actresses on the daytime dramas.
Adrienne Frantz and Susan Flannery are amazing together. I hope Stephanie can find it in her heart to truly welcome Amber back into her life.
I HATE the idea of Morgan having another child to replace her lost child. GO, GO, STEPHANIE, GO GIRL. Make Morgan's life miserable.
Thank you so very much for letting Stephanie and Amber bond once again. I love Stephanie and know that she is the one person in the world who can help Amber get beyond her "Tawny" legacy and show her how people should treat other people, show her how to be as wonderful a person as Stephanie is herself. Let Amber know the love and strength that Stephanie has showed her children and Taylor. I think that will be just the ticket for Amber.
If Morgan didn't want to have the abortion, no amount of convincing on Stephanie's part would have mattered. She could have told Ridge. If Stephanie was able to convince her to do that then she's not mature enough and fit to be a mother anyway. So Stephanie was right all along.
The scenes with Amber and Stephanie have made me tear up. I watched the tape several times. Their emotions are so real and they make me feel as if I know them.
PLEASE LET THE FORRESTER CLAN EAT HUMBLE PIE! How about letting them lose their company to Victor Newman (the way he did with the Abbotts)? Or better yet, let them lose all their money, investments, property, etc. Stephanie can work as a maid, Eric as a janitor, and everyone else flipping burgers. I'd love to see that!
I just read through all the mail and must say I agree with most of the opinions expressed. Stephanie is looking absolutely beautiful. And, what a joy - one that brought tears - the Thursday and Friday shows were. I am so proud to see Stephanie being so compassionate to Amber and Becky. I have always seen Stephanie as the head manipulator, boss and controller of the show (even though some give this title to Brooke).
I think you should put Giovanni with Stephanie. She needs a young stud in her life. Maybe that way she will be too busy to have her nose in everyone else's business. Plus, Eric needs to get payback for all his trouble-making deeds.
The best match for Giovanni I think is Becky or Kimberly. Maybe even Stephanie, but definitely not Brooke.
I love this show and congratulations to Susan Flannery for getting the Emmy award. Your fan, Kellie
Congratulations to Susan Flannery.
I think Taylor needs to wake up! I think she also owes Stephanie a huge apology! If Taylor allows this, she is crazy!
Stephanie Forrester, GO GIRL. I want to see Stephanie make Morgan's life miserable. I think Morgan is a psycho and she only cares about herself. Morgan is another Brooke. I hope Stephanie can get away with that pill so that Morgan can have a miscarriage.
It is always Brooke, Taylor, Amber and now even Morgan doing the chasing. How about watching Ridge or Thorne, or upset Eric and Stephanie's relationship and let the men do the chasing in a love triangle for a change.
Tell Stephanie to get a grip and quit living her life through her children. She should be so enthralled with Eric that they should be on a honeymoon!
I am a 46 year old male, admitting from the relative security of my macho closet that I am a great B&B fan. I have to wonder if Susan Flannery and Katherine Kelly Lang have a healthy dislike for each other, or are they THAT good?
To the fan who said "let the Forresters lose a battle for once". They did, when Brooke took over Forrester Creations. Let's see more of Eric. Stephanie look fantastic lately so where's the passion in their marriage, writers?
I puke at Brooke, Amber, Morgan and Rick. But on the other hand, I could never get sick of my favorites Eric and Stephanie! More airtime for the veterans! This show needs a character from the past to come back, like Angela or Kristen or Sheila. You must give more airtime to Eric! I never see him anymore. I know that many viewers want to see Eric and Stephanie in a story of their own. A triangle maybe, with two men fighting over Stephanie. That would be great! I know many people who agree with me. You only concentrate on the younger and therefore you will lose the older viewers. One thing that I have noticed is that the show is more about sex than romance and magic these days. It's not better! The family sense is gone as well. And the comedy! But the show has become faster in its plot and that is a big
plus. The only thing I really miss the most is Eric and Stephanie (my favorite couple). With love, Charity
I think Stephanie is great on the show. She has been my all time favorite for years. She has so much strength and is such a beautiful woman. I still remember her from "The Towering Inferno" and "Dallas". I look forward to seeing her roles getting better and better. Give us more Stephanie Forrester.
WOW! This show is just getting better every day. Brad Bell is doing an amazing job! The actors are just fabulous! My favorite is Susan Flannery. I would like to see a triangle where two men fight over Stephanie. Eric, of course, and maybe Bill Spencer when he is in L.A. Give them a storyline of their own. It's a shame to waste the talents of Mr. McCook and Ms. Flannery on other storylines!
I love it when your writers have the characters do the right thing. Like when Eric married Stephanie or when Amber finally faced up to the truth and became humble and wanted to do what was right. Keep “the right things” in your scripts and storylines.
Although I don't always like Stephanie, Susan Flannery is a great actress.
I feel that Stephanie is a neat character, but she needs to calm down. Her children are grown and can handle their own problems.
Stephanie needs to be taken down. Clarke Garrison is the one to do it.
I've been a faithful B&B fan for a decade. It was the entertaining Sally that drew me in and the world class acting of Susan Flannery that kept me watching. I still like them both. I tend
to think of B&B as a wonderful camp melodrama and Sally and Stephanie play right into that hand. Lang often transcends that genre. When she's at her best. I forget the camp element of B&B and all see is Brooke and her pain. Only a very fine actress can do that. (For the record, Susan Flannery frequently does the same, only with rage).
I can't tell you how thrilled I am that Susan Flannery won an Emmy. She is simply one of the best actresses on TV, be it daytime or primetime.
A big round of applause to Susan Flannery! Very classy of her to thank Katherine Kelly Lang! I'm so proud of all the cast. Their recognition will come. Susan was the first step!
Congratulations to Susan Flannery on her Emmy win! I was on the edge of my chair waiting for the name to be called and cheered so loud when she won. She deserves it for her superb acting when she and Brooke were up in the cabin during the rain storm. Outstanding!
I just want to say congratulations to Susan Flannery (Stephanie) for winning the Daytime Emmy Awards last Friday night. The cast does a great job in acting and all of you do a great job in putting it together (writing, producing). If was in charge of the Emmy Awards, B&B would have won best soap opera and more of the cast would have been nominated and won.
Congratulations to Susan Flannery. She is truly the BEST actress in daytime television! What guts!
I have to say how glad I was that Susan Flannery won the Emmy for best actress!
I don't trust Morgan one bit. I would love it if she turned out to be a little mean. Sarah Buxton is great as always! I want to see more of Eric and Stephanie!
Hi Susan Flannery! My Mom and I were so happy when your co-stars called your name for best actress. We were jumping up and down for you. You are a terrific actress! During your acceptance speech you said it's Katherine Kelly Lang's turn next year. I really hope you're right. I don't know why the B&B didn't get more nominations. The cast is great! Well, I just wanted to say congratulations! -Rich Felice
Just a short note to wish my most heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Flannery on her win. Ms. Flannery, you are as graceful and elegant live on stage as is your character. As most know, it is unheard of for a half hour show to pick up a major award. This merely magnifies your most significant victory .Your class was apparent in your attribute to Katherine Kelly Lang. Sincerely yours, R. J. Nelsen IV
Susan Flannery deserved the Emmy and I cheered when she got it, but I cheered even more to hear her commendation for Katherine Kelly Lang who also deserves one.
I am with Stephanie. Brooke is a low class valley girl that happened to sleep with the right man and happened to get rich in the process by STEALING a company from her ex-husband.
I believe that the Forresters (Eric and Stephanie) and the Moores (Joe and Tilly) should be involved in Little Eric's life.
Actually I think Little Eric should be raised in the household of Eric and Stephanie with them giving (they have so much space) a room for Amber and the baby.
Thorne has always been like the stepchild to Eric and Stephanie.
I also like to say to Hunter Tylo, Ronn Moss, Susan Flannery, John McCook, Katherine Kelly Lang, and the rest, GREAT JOB! You have all of us in North Carolina hooked and waiting for more!
B&B gets more exciting everyday. I also want to say I've been a fan of the marvellous Susan
Flannery and John McCook for years. I admire their talents. –Beth
Congratulations on the casting coup of Sean Kanan as Deacon. He just sizzles when he's on-screen with charisma, evil spirits and lots of sex appeal! I just read his interview and look forward to his scenes with Susan Flannery. Wouldn't it be hilarious to have Deacon seduce Stephanie and raise living hell with her?
My friends and family who watch B&B all have the same opinion as I do about Deacon, delicious, yummy chiller. We hate this character with a passion. He is so evil, but we see the potential for his growth. We would love to see Stephanie get under his skin and find a heart that Deacon has had to bury for whatever reason. Let Stephanie get to him the way she did Amber, showing him that there are people willing to give you a break and a chance, even if you are from the wrong side of tile tracks.
The last scene with Deacon and Stephanie was so full of emotion! I loved it! It was just amazing. I love the way that she is so fearless. I knew that she would be the one to get through to Deacon. Your writers are extremely talented. Without him actually saying it, the audience could tell that Deacon had a troubled, abused childhood! Once again, that episode was great. Keep up the good work! I can't wait to see what happens next.
I watched the showdown between Stephanie and Deacon. I really like Deacon. I always felt that deep down inside he is a good guy. It was very moving to see Stephanie reach out to him. I guess she is not all bad. I hope Stephanie helps Deacon resolve his problems. I really like him. He is great looking, too.
Love the scene where Stephanie hugged Deacon. It was very obvious that Deacon had a troubled childhood and probably did not receive any love. I usually hate Stephanie's antics, but that hug (Deacon) was just awesome! Your writing on this show just gets better and better and Susan Flannery is just wonderful! Keep up the good work!
Stephanie is such a wonderful character. She has been accused of being a busybody in her children's lives, but what I see is a woman who goes above and beyond her duties to help her children survive and be happy and to try and not make to many painful mistakes. Stephanie is the kind of person I hope to be one day. I love her and watch the show because of her.
Thank you Susan Flannery and the writers of B&B. I just finished watching 12/6/00 episode and you had me jumping, screaming and crying by the end of the show. Thank you for showing the reason why Stephanie Forrester is the best kind of mother. It takes a woman with that kind of heart and love to look into a person's soul and see their pain and suffering and be able to give them what they need even if they don't know it themselves. It is always Stephanie's unfailing strength and love that gets her children, and all the others she has
taken under her wing, on to the right road of life, no matter how much they have strayed. They usually get into trouble when they don't listen to her advice and find themselves in a world of hurt. Now Stephanie has come to Deacon's life and he will never be the same. If anybody can reach this man it is Stephanie. She is the only person strong and giving enough to show this man another path of life besides the one he had been travelling thus far. She is the kind of woman I will always strive to be for my children and those who exist in my world.
Once again, thank you creator of this show for the excellent work.
I just finished watching today's show… wow! It brought tears to my eyes. This is my favorite show. I wish it was an hour long! I am writing to let you know how moved I was watching the last scene with Stephanie and Deacon. It was incredible! She didn't back down. I would have been scared! Then Deacon going off and her reaching out to hug him. Wow! Just perfect. I don't know where you find these people, but they are the best of the best.
I think that when Stephanie hugged Deacon it was so sweet. I hope that she can get through to him. As for the rest of the show, it is great, too.
The scene with Deacon/Stephanie hugging was awesome! Used to never watch but now pals and I can't stop.
Cheers to Deacon's character. He's a hottie! He is sure making the show more interesting. It's about time someone had some power over the Forresters. I loved the scene where he broke down in front of Stephanie.
I’m also glad that Stephanie has Morgan's number, Stephanie makes a better "shrink" than Taylor.
If Stephanie could forgive Eric for sleeping with Lauren on their wedding day, Taylor can forgive Ridge.
Susan Flannery has ALWAYS been my favorite in the show and I am hoping that she will win that Emmy she rightfully deserves. Steph and Eric should be together forever. They are great together. Great chemistry. Ms. Flannery and Mr. McCook are the best actors! And Susan is looking fabulous these days.
