Letterips from 2001 (second part):
I have to admire Susan Flannery for great acting. She and Katherine Kelly Lang are the best!
I have been a faithful viewer of "The Bold and the Beautiful" for 10 years. I usually enjoy it for the campy fun of Darlene Conley's Sally Spectra, the superb acting of Susan Flannery as Stephanie, and "the beautiful people" especially Hunter Tylo's Taylor. But I have never been as moved by daytime drama as I was when John McCook took Paolo Benedeti into his arms and Eric let Tony cry on his shoulder. My Lord, McCook is good.
I am a viewer from Australia (a woman about Stephanie's age). I think she is wonderful.
I was actually laughing out load in amusement as I watched the banter between Brooke and Stephanie. Classic! KKL and Susan Flannery are outstanding.
I am very glad that Stephanie is back from her cruise because she is the only one that can handle Brooke. Ridge is playing with fire!
I’m so happy that the relationship between Stephanie and Eric is going to be challenged. Stephanie has chased Eric for some time and finally she won him back. Now it’s time for him to find how it feels when someone else wants your wife.
As far as Brooke, well needless to say she is the biggest troublemaker I have ever seen. My hubby and I hate her!! Stephanie is everyone’s rock and I think for once someone should look out after her!
I think bringing Massimo into the storyline brings a spark to the show. What Massimo and Stephanie did to get Brooke out of the picture was classic. Let Brooke stay away and when she does come back let her see how happy all of the Forrester men are without her!
I would love to see Stephanie and Taylor fight over Eric.
Give me a break! Stephanie should NOT have let Ridge yell at her the way he did today (10/11/01). This is ALL his fault and I am so disgusted.
First of all, I would like to say that the addition of Massimo is just one of the best additions that B&B has made recently. He is just brilliant, and someone to stand up for Eric, who needs a little humiliation. As far as Stephanie is concerned, I used to think that she was a terrible person for scheming against Brooke all the time but when Brooke recently decided that she was going after Ridge AGAIN I saw in Stephanie for the first time in many years a mother who will do anything to protect her family from a vicious, immoral, selfish and shameless person that Brooke is! I would do the same without thinking twice.
I like the storyline with Stephanie, Eric and Massimo. Eric and Stephanie act more like friends than husband and wife. I'd like to see Eric show her that he loves her and if he can't, then she should go for Massimo.
I just love the addition of Massimo Marone to the cast of B&B! He adds an edge that has been
missing and I love the fact that he shows that a middle-aged woman can be attractive and
desirable, not just the young hard-bodies!
I love the addition of Massimo Marone. I started cheering and clapping the day he told off Eric because everything he said was true. For years Stephanie has had to sit by and watch Eric chase and marry other women. It’s about time that the show brought on someone to give Eric a run for his money, when it comes to Stephanie. I would really love to see a Massimo/Stephanie relationship.
What would Stephanie do if she found out that Taylor almost slept with her husband. Would she still be the precious daughter-in-law, the goody-goody of all time?
Finally! A real man for Stephanie to depend on! This is the most exciting thing to happen to Stephanie in years. She should dump Eric’s wimpy ass and kick some serious Logan butt with Massimo! And Susan Flannery is always fabulous. I could watch her read a phone book! She’s one of the finest actors on television! Give em´ hell, Steph!
Massimo is GREAT!!! He really told Eric off. Everything he said was SO TRUE!! I loved it. Please keep him around and let Stephanie see what “REAL LOVE” is all about. Stephanie and Massimo – YEAH!
Hooray for Massimo!!! It’s about time someone tells Eric off! I agree 100% with what he said. It seems to me Stephanie has to be the one confronting Brooke. When Stephanie was on vacation, I don’t remember seeing Eric confronting Brooke. He only talked to Ridge about the situation. I’m glad Taylor finally told Ridge to stop having anything to do with Brooke (even though it didn’t do any good). Ridge is so gullible. I’m all for Stephanie and Taylor. They are very family oriented and protective of their family. They are threatened by anything that would tear the nuclear family apart.
I love the character of Massimo Marone! I love that! Massimo - The Tony Soprano of daytime! He cares about other people, like Stephanie, and wants what's best for her. That’s really sweet. And he stirs things up just by showing his face. I love the fight between Massimo and Eric. Eric needs competition for Stephanie. This gives us a storyline for John and Susan. That's great! I'm loving it. Eric and Stephanie need to stay married. They are the spinal cord of B&B and the best actors. I love what Massimo is trying to do. Eric always takes Stephanie for granted and Massimo can teach him not to. I hope Massimo succeeds in getting rid of Brooke. She is a home-wrecker. She marries divorced men but is soon bored and has to start chasing another again. She lives for the chasing! I love this story
involving Brooke, Ridge, Taylor, Massimo, Stephanie and Eric. I can just feel the temperature
get cooler every day. Great going! I'm glued to the TV. All my best wishes to all victims and
relatives to them and all New Yorkers and people in Washington. I feel for you.
Regarding Stephanie and Massimo, I love it! I also agree with the viewer who wrote that
they could watch Stephanie reading a phone book! Susan Flannery has ALWAYS been my all-time soap favorite!
Please let Eric get a reality check and tell him to stop butting in on everyone else’s lives and take care of his own. I want Stephanie to cheat on him so he will be worried about himself and not everyone else. I love the show.
I agree with Massimo. Eric has treated Stephanie like a dog in the past and he does not deserve her.
I am shocked that Eric is not Ridge’s father! After all of this time thinking that Ridge was a Forrester I am in complete shock! I can’t wait to see how this story develops. Maybe Massimo will get what he has always wanted… Stephanie, a son and revenge where Eric is concerned.
Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! I could not have thought of a better storyline myself! I love the show and think it’s great for Stephanie because it adds a new dimension that will have an affect on everyone. Ridge is not a Forrester; Ridge’s kids are not Forresters; Stephanie will be torn.
I am so looking forward to seeing Stephanie get what’s coming to her!! I can’t help but enjoy seeing Stephanie made out to be the tramp she always said Brooke was. Way to go B&B.
I am really enjoying the twist that Massimo is Ridge’s father! Susan Flannery is a fabulous actress and I cannot wait for the fallout with the other Forresters, namely Eric (John McCook).
What a stroke of brilliance bringing in a suitor to vie Stephanie, thus ending Eric’s complacency and giving Stephanie some overdue sex appeal. Middle-aged viewers love it! And even more clever was the unveiling of Ridge’s paternity. You couldn’t have created a better hornet’s nest if you had Shakespeare as one of your writers!
The scene with Stephanie and Massimo was absolutely fabulous when he discovered that he's
Ridge's father. Wonderful acting!
This Massimo/Stephanie/Ridge/Eric story is very interesting. I like Sally being included.
As an older woman, I really appreciate the storyline that has Eric and Massimo competing for
Stephanie's attention. It's a dream for all of us old broads to have two good looking guys to chose from. Thanks for the fantasy!
I love the storyline about Massimo being Ridge's father. But it was a great shock for me. Ridge is not a Forrester. Please don't separate Stephanie and Eric because of this. They should stay married forever. They are perfect together. I love both of them so much. Susan Flannery's
amazing. She can make everything work out. The show is great as usual. I have been watching it since day one. It is the best show in the world. Keep up the good work and please, please let Stephanie and Eric stay together. They belong to each other. PLEASE, PLEASE!
The show is getting more and more delicious. I would love to see Massimo give Eric cause to lose as much sleep as possible. He has always had affairs and still look urbane. It is about time Stephanie to blossom. Just please keep up the excellent mix of good and bad.
Poor Stephanie! Knowing Ridge isn't Eric's son is awful for her! And she didn't even know. That makes her innocent in this. And I feel for her. I would be devastated. If Eric finds out, I don't think he has the right to be angry with her. She didn't know herself. And he wasn't mad at Brooke when she didn't know the father of Bridget. Anyway, Eric will always be Ridge's father. I just hope this was an awful mistake and that Eric will be the biological father after all. And PLEASE don't separate Eric and Stephanie!! They belong together -always have, always will! Mass has got some nerve to just walk in and demand for Ridge and Eric to let Stephanie go! Stephanie has spent her whole grown up life loving Eric, not Massimo. He should get this through his head and give Sally a shot. I love Eric and Stephers and I hope they stay married forever! Please...
I am so enjoying the storyline with Stephanie, Eric and Massimo. I am a big Stephanie and Eric fan, and I love how Massimo has made Eric realize how he takes Stephanie for granted, I hope the revelation that Ridge is Massimo’s son will not destroy Steph and Eric’s marriage, but regardless of how it turns out, I can’t wait for Susan Flannery to play it out. She is absolutely the finest actress on daytime and I am all for any story that will showcase her talent.
Should Stephanie choose Eric or Mas? Well, she may not have a choice, because Eric might leave her when he finds out Ridge isn't his son. But in my heart of hearts, I hope he doesn't.
I think that Tony and Kristen make a lovely couple. Of course, it would be nice discovered that there was an error in Tony’s test and he is not HIV positive. Eric and Clarke should mind their own business, even though it’s Eric’s daughter. She is old enough to make her own decision. Eric needs to concentrate on his marriage. Kidnapping his daughter is a bit farfetched, don’t you think?
Why is it if Taylor keeps something from Ridge, it’s evil. But if Brooke uses people and lies and schemes, it’s okay? Same goes for Amber. It’s okay for Brooke, but nobody else? No, thank you! I love it when Stephanie gives it to Brooke right between the eyes. She deserves every bit of it! Once and for all, leave Ridge alone!
I am so glad Massimo Marone is on the scene! He gives high and mighty Eric Forrester a run for his money. I am curious about whether or not Mass and Stephanie are going to get together soon. Sally Spectra is like a shark waiting in the darkness. Mass brought up a lot of good points about the way Eric walked all over Stephanie with all his affairs. I like the way Stephanie affectionately calls him “Mass” and still remains friends with him although his plan blew up in his face.
P.S. I'd pick Eric!
