CBS.com: What scenes are you going to submit for consideration?
ADRIENNE FRANTZ: I'm not sure which ones I'm going to [submit now]. What I [already submitted] was when Amber was in the hospital room with Rick...and he tells her [the baby's dead]. Then the day after when [Stephanie] comes in and [Amber] was completely depressed and in this little shell and [Stephanie] brought her out. I called [Susan] this morning when I was freaking out and I said, "You know what Susan? I wouldn't be the actress I am today if it wasn't for you. You're my backbone." She's so amazing. She taught me so much over the years. I would suck if it wasn't for Susan.
“I was so happy to see Susan win the Emmy,” Frantz gushes over Susan Flannery´s recognition this year as Outstanding Lead Actress for her portrayal of Stephanie. “Oh my gosh! I mean, she´s my mentor on the show. She´s taught me everything. She´s just really made me believe in myself as an actress. She taught me to trust in my instincts and just go for it: not to listen when someone tells you to do something that you don´t think is right.” In fact, “I didn´t even mind not winning when I saw Susan win. That just made it worth it.”
When asked who of her co-stars has taught her the most Adrienne´s answer was Susan Flannery (Stephanie). She feels that Susan is an amazing actress who have taught her a lot with her ability to play scenes at many levels without going overboard.
"Talk about an Emmy being well deserved and long overdue! When Susan called me the morning the nominations were announced, I just started crying and got so emotional with her. She's my mentor."
Best friends from B&B? She and Marissa Tait (Becky) are best buddies off the set and she and Susan Flannery (Stephanie) are also close.
Q: “Getting to the work itself, when you arrive on the set every day, who do you feel raises the acting bar on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL”?
Adrienne: “Susan Flannery (Stephanie), definitely. She is the most amazing actress that I've ever gotten to work with. She gives so much to every single scene, and she pulls things out of you that you didn't realize that you had. She's just an amazing actress, and I don't think I would have gotten nominated if it wasn't for her because she teaches you how to trust yourself and believe in your instincts and just go for it”.
Q: “Amber's scenes with Stephanie are always terrific. What is it like working with Susan Flannery (Stephanie), and what have you learned from her”?
Adrienne: “Susan is such an amazing actress; she totally gives 110 % to every scene. I think that's what I've learned from her: you can't do anything half-a**. You just have to go all the way. She has such guts; she's got such an amazing power on-screen. I've learned a lot from her. When she won her Emmy, I thought I was going to have a heart attack, I was so happy for her! I was crying, screaming… I knew she was going to win, I just knew it, and I was so happy for her”.
“My favorite character would probably have to be Stephanie because she's such a powerful character and she's such a great actress”.

Q: “Who's the most underrated actor on your show”?
ADRIENNE: "John McCook [Eric]. It was his first Emmy nomination last year, and he definitely deserved many more before that. I hope that he not only gets another nomination this year, but goes home with an Emmy."
“I would say that Justin Torkildsen (Rick) and Sarah Buxton (Morgan) and Susan Flannery (Stephanie) are my best buds on the set”
“Me and Susan work so well together because I am always learning new things from her. Also, we talk a lot off the set about not only the show, but our personal lives, and I feel really excited when Susan pays me a compliment or is proud of something I have done”.
Q: “What's it like working with Susan Flannery (Stephanie) both as a director and a fellow actor”?
