As Jack Hamilton came to town to attend his daughter Taylor’s wedding to Ridge, he and Stephanie met. Stephanie still wasn’t sure about Taylor and Ridge marrying and had a talk with Jack about it. She slowly started having some feelings for him. Ridge and Taylor married and Jack decided to stay in town. He took a job at Spectra as their accountant. He and Stephanie started seeing each other. Stephanie came by Eric’s office one day and told him about her and Jack. She confessed that she was finally letting the past go. She wanted to focus on her future and that might be Jack. Eric was happy for her and thought it would be appropriate to slip her wedding ring off her finger as he slipped it on in the first place. He placed it in her hand and they shared a kiss and a hug good-bye. Eric moved on with Sheila and Stephanie with Jack.
