Sheila wanted Eric. But she knew she couldn´t have a chance with him if he found out all about her past. Her life in Genoa City (Y&R) as a kidnapping baby-snatching attempted murderer. Sheila got a job at Forrester as a nurse, but decided she wanted to be closer to Eric. So she set out to get rid of Eric Jr´s nanny Judy by causing her to take a fall. That fall led to Judy getting paralysed from the waist down. Judy realized just how dangerous Sheila was as she read in a Genoa City paper about her crimes. She threatened to expose Sheila, but Sheila covered it by threatening Judy´s family if she came forward. Judy backed off and left town. Sheila was named the new nanny. Eric and Sheila started dating and became involved. Stephanie became suspicious of Sheila as she learned Sheila was keeping messages from Judy away from Brooke. Sheila wanted to be a good person and started seeing the therapist Jay Garvin, whom she later accidentally killed since he knew too much. Eric informed Sheila that Lauren Fenmore, the owner of Fenmore´s department store in Genoa City, was coming to town. Sheila realized she was doomed if Lauren saw her since Sheila had caused Lauren so much pain (baby-switch, stealing her husband and attempting murdering Lauren…). But Sheila was lucky this time. They never met while Lauren visited L.A.
Sheila called her mother Molly to visit L.A. to see she was doing better in her life now. But Molly was hard to convince. If she had reason to believe Sheila was lying to her, she would go to Eric with the truth.
