Anthony Martins is one of my newer marks, and as of this writing we haven't gotten too far. But he has thus far been much more cooperative in my request to apply for preferred contractor status.

Mr. Martins,

I was reviewing your proposal regarding the disposition of William Rection's estate, and would like for you to send me the information on how to handle this transaction. My firm is currently looking to increase our asset base to prepare for an upcoming preferred stock offering, and your proposal sounds as though it would suit our needs nicely.

Sincerely,

Mr. Martins,

I received your email reply, and the content was well understood. Thank you for your efficiency with this transaction. Per your request, I spoke to my board of directors, and they have given me fast track authority to work with you, and provide you with financial assistance if necessary. They advised that this transaction was a primary action item. They did instruct me that in order to make disbursments to an offshore account that we will need to set up a preferred contractor in your country, so I went ahead and recommended you for the position. I will need a couple of things from you:

1. Attached you will find a company logo. Please print the logo onto card stock, and take a picture of yourself holding the logo. The logo needs to be large enough so that the print can be read in the photograph. (Other contractors have enlarged the logo to approximately two to three times as large, and it has been legible)

2. We need a letter of request for preferred contractor status. The content of the letter is at your discretion, but you should indicate that you have been selling our adult novelty products for at least two years, and would like to carry the full line of our products. You should also use our company slogan in your letter (I gave the others an inspection, then I got an E. Rection). Thanks again for your hard work. If I can do anything else to be personally helpful, please advise.

Sincerely,

Hugh G. Rection

Sir,

I acknowledge your mail, and all the contents well understood,i am sorry for my late response,it is due to that i was trying to give out the Logo to the artist that will handle the work, and he has started with the job,by next week,i believe all your requirements will be ready.

I am expecting your promise of today to enable me conclude with the documents tomorrow.I am very happy for the arrangement you are making for me in Califonia and i would like to enjoy those things that you enjoy over there.

I have now known why you want all these  requirements that you are asking for. That is a good idea,at least to enable us to move the money into your company's account without problem.

So iam waiting to hear from you so as to get these documents ready by tomorrow,so we can move into the next stage. The director of the bank just asked me of the documents some hours ago,and i told him it would be ready by tomorrow.

Mr. Martins,

Thanks for your attention to this matter. As soon as I get that information from you, I'll submit it to the accounting department, and they can issue the disbursement on the same business day. We use Western Union on a very regular basis, and are set up to make the disbursement. If you need any assistance in completing any of your tasks, feel free to contact me at any time. I have a large staff at my disposal, and I can take care of many things from here.

Hugh

P.S. In America, It is customary for us to use nicknames with business associates, and I would appreciate it if you would address me in future correspondence as “Slim Shady”. You would honor me if you would allow me to call you “Maricones,” which is a sacred title of respect between business associates.

Those of you who have taken Spanish class know that "maricones" is Spanish for "Fag", and that sounds like a good nickname.

Barrister Martins,

Pursuant to your earlier email, no disbursements will be sent until you have been approved for contractor status. I apologize if you feel as though you cannot complete this transaction without a cash advance from my office, but I have no control over that. Perhaps you can arrange a loan from a local bank to fund your efforts as a stop-gap until you have been approved for disbursements, and then you can invoice our accounts payable department after you have been approved. After you send me the required information, I will personally walk it through and get your approval to receive disbursements. But until that time, we are not official business partners, just two people exchanging emails with each other.

I find this phone call business offensive. You have the information that you need to transact your business, and we can communicate quite well through email. There is no additional information that can be provided by a telephone call from someone on my staff. This is a private matter that I would prefer to keep between us, and I see no benefit to involving someone else at this point. I am not sure about your local customs, but when you work with someone who has a disability, you make every reasonable effort to communicate directly. The involvement of a third party implies that my disability diminishes my mental capacity, and that I can't do my own job.

I'm not sure if you ever spent any time in the military, but I did 2 tours in Viet Nam to protect the rights of my fellow Americans. I received 2 silver stars, a purple heart, and the medal of honor for the midnight raid on the Mekong Delta in which my platoon neutralized an entire division of North Vietnamese. I demand respect from everyone that I work with, and I give respect in return. I'm willing to help you every step of the way, but I insist that you quit stalling and submit the required documentation to my office.

Hugh

Anthony,

Thanks for your inquiry and attention to detail. I spoke with Pete Moss in the accounting department, and he said that the logo needs to be in the light blue color provided, and needs to be large enough for the company name to be legible in the photograph. He also indicated that prior contractors have been most successful if they enlarge the photograph to twice the size that the electronic file prints out by default. I'm going to go to my physician's office today to update my vaccinations for my travel, but I should be able to reply to any emails that you send on the same business day.

Many thanks,

Anthony,

I appreciate your hard work on this. I am very happy to have you there taking care of this business. As soon as I get the documents from you, I'll walk them through to the accouting department and get this taken care of.

Regarding the bank director, I wish that you had allowed me to deal with him on this transaction, because I probably could have gotten us a better percentage than 100,000 dollars. In a similar transaction, I took my associate Luca Brasi with me and made him an offer he couldn't refuse, and I will likely do the same with this bank manager. I understand that in a nation with such a corrupt bureacracy that we must sometimes resort to greasing palms and paying kickbacks, but I also refuse to be held hostage. I ain't no band leader.

Hope all is well with you...things are going well here, and I am already planning and preparing for the IPO for my firm which I intend to fund with this purchase. I am going to go ahead and set aside a block of 200,000 shares for you, because I think your best course of action when you relocate to the US is to invest your money, and that will show as a good asset to you for tax reasons when you purchase your home here. My real estate agent has your email address, and she will soon be in touch with you regarding your interest in homes here.

Anthony,

I received the documents from you today, and I appreciate the effort that you have spent preparing the letter. I met briefly with Mr. Rod Johnson from our board of directors, and he had a couple of suggestions for revisions that must be made, because the current draft does not quite meet the requirements for endorsement. I have attached a copy of the letter with Mr. Johnson's notes, and provided some notes from our discussion below:

1. In your first paragraph, we will need a company history. You might briefly describe how long that the company has been open, and the types of products that you carry.

2. In the second paragraph, it would be helpful if you named some specific products that you currently carry. As you probably already know, E. Rection is currently the largest distributor of adult novelty products in the U.S., and we carry a variety of personal massagers, lingerie and erotic videos. My secretary is going to send you a product catalog this evening after she has a chance to prepare it for electronic distribution, and that should assist you.

3. In the third paragraph, please expand on the impact that E. Rection's products have had in the community. For example, you could say that a portion of the profits from your store have been used to purchase new equipment for local schools and hospitals, and that you were able to underwrite a new city park. Also, Mr. Johnson indicated some minor spelling and grammatical changes that need to be made.

Other than those few points, I think that it is a really great letter, and you should be granted contractor status very soon, pursuant to your resubmission of the letter with the marked changes, and after we receive an appropriate photograph for your credentials.

Good work, my friend. I hope that you have figured out what you are going to do with all this money that you are about to have.

Hugh
