On the way
a short visit to
MANAVGAT WATERFALL
In early 1940s Alanya was a small village with about
couple of hundreds houses and banana plantations.
Since there were no roads, transportation
to Antalya was only possible by boats.
Now it is a big city with a population of 120'000.

I visited Alanya for the first time in Summer 1965.
At that time, the only holiday establishment in Alanya,
the primitive "ALANYA MOTEL" was situated at this site.
Needless to mention, we were the only tourists...
