I spread most of my game news through the GMG Forums anyway.

Shawn64 was an inspiration to all those active in the community of the Game Maker Program. Many can attest to the help that he gave them with their games, in particular, in the area of artwork. He was also the creator of many great games including Infection, the "Jetz" series, and his most recent creation (finished only a week before his death, coincidentally) Street Bike Fury.

The fact that his death came by his own hand makes it all the more sorrowful. There was no indication of it, as far as could be told by us who only know him over the internet. Personally, I did not know Shawn64 very well, and I've only played one of his games before, but this was the first death of a Gamer Maker "celebrity," and it's hard to not be impacted.

I don't know how else to pay my respects, but let this small thing be my tribute to Shawn "64" Noel.

According to the person who was Shawn's Webmaster, he will continue to run Shawn's website. Also, Shawn died while in the middle of helping someone with a game. So, when that game is released, it will bear the Shawn64 Games logo.

Well, school IS back, has been for three weeks now, and I have a new demo of Prince of Persia. Unfortunately, I don't have the link for it right now, but it'll be there by tonight.

Also, since GMUploader is down, and I need to reupload Pyre anyway... I'm thinking of making a "Pyre Redux" with better graphics, a few new levels, and some new weapons, and that'll be what I upload.

Also, I redid the layout a bit on some of the "Game Info" pages.
