I'm going to a picket captain meeting
on Tuesday. If there's anything you would want me to
bring up at the meeting, send me a e-mail or contact
me on MSN Messenger and let me know about it. Also,
if you have any ideas on strategies or things the union
could do to put pressure on Aliant, let me know.
I made a few modifications to the website. Let me know
if you don't like it. I also added a Pictures section,
and in it, our new team member Éric played around
with Photoshop and made something truly wonderful. Enjoy!
I also have a message to pass along concerning picketing
at X-Wave:
"Harris & Roome made a special request if
we would not park across from their loading door on
Driscol Drive (the road opposite Xwave where we have
been parking) and not to park on both sides of the street
so that they might better facilitate getting tractor-trailers
into their building. Also, please do not park within
the Xwave parking lot. For one it does not look good
crossing your own picket line and two, you are asking
for trouble to be blocked in or accused of trespassing
on company property. Please instruct all people to park
on Driscol Crescent."
