My name is Erica.

I am 26 years old, born in February of 1977.

I have never been married, and do not have any children.

I am Caucasian, and have a fair complexion, but tan easily.

My ancestry is quite a hodge-podge. I have English, German, Irish, Scots, Celtic, Cherokee Indian, and French running through my veins.

I live in Dallas, TX. I grew up in Shreveport, LA.

I have straight, light brown hair, but was very blond as a child.

I have bluish / grayish / green eyes.

I am 5'6, and weigh 198 pounds. I am overweight, but strong, muscular, and healthy.

I wear glasses.

I have perfect hearing.

My blood type is A-.

The only surgery I've had was when I was 19. I had part of my thyroid taken out, for hypothyroidism.

I am a Christian (baptized Baptist).

I am a college drop-out.

I have had no learning disabilities.

I have had no psychological disorders.

I do not drink, or do drugs. They both make me physically ill.

At home, I am a slob. I actually *enjoy* my disaster areas. =)

At work, I am a neat freak. All of my files must be in perfect order, and I'm addicted to the Windex.

I enjoy movies, whether it be going to the theater, or renting a movie, and bringing it home to watch. My favorite types of movies are cute, cheesy romantic comedies. I don't watch much television though.

Once I start a project, I don't stop until it's finished. I'm also that way about things I want. Once I decide I want something, I go out and get it. A couple of years ago, I really wanted a new computer. So I baby-sat all summer long for the money to buy the parts, and put it together myself, since I couldn't afford to buy one from the store. (That computer never did work right!)

I have two dogs, one cat, and one fish.

I spend a lot of time with my brother, and his kids. I am especially close to his daughter.

I live with my father, who was recently widowed, so I try to spend as much time with him as possible, to keep him company. We go out to eat together every night, and I spend as many evenings with him as possible.

I love hanging out with friends, but I require a lot of "alone" time, to read books, or play on the computer. I was something of a nerd when I was in school.

I love going to renaissance fairs, the zoo, aquariums, history museums, operas, the symphony, out dancing, or to clubs. But my true passion is books. I can spend half a paycheck at a bookstore in a couple of hours. I enjoy some science fiction (Orson Scott Card), and horror (Stephen King, Dean R. Koontz), but my favorite genre is fantasy, (elves, dragons, magic, etc.) I hate to admit it, but I'm also a closet romance-novel reader. (Shhhhh...)

I tend to be nervous and shy when first meeting a person. Although I can be loud, boisterous, and rowdy, once I've gotten to know a person well, I am usually pretty quiet. I usually just don’t have much to say to people, but I always try to be friendly and polite.
