Special areas | Description and origin : In 1992, the construction of the reclaimed area was finished. An artificial mangrove area was thus created, filled by fresh water during low tide and heavy rains, filled with sea water during high tide. | Description : A rock formation divides Glaçis beach in 2 parts. Part of the rocks are submerged during high tide and exposed during low tides, resulting in numerous tidal pools were various crabs hide from the sun between the rocks.
