Rather than specific regional assignments I invite you to be creative. Italy has lots of different wines to offer. Remember it ain't all Chianti. I've posted some links below that will allow you to do some research on Italian wine. We never have sparkling wine at the tasting so I expect to see a Prosecco. (no, $4 Asti Spumante doesn't count!)
Bring two bottles of wine, not necessarily one white and one red, but two different bottles.
Bring an appetizer or dish to go with your chosen wine. It looks like we'll have 15 people so prepare accordingly. |
