Eric Mason Warren Jr. Born February 3, 1982 in Nashville, TN
I was born in Baptist Hospital on a snowy day. It snowed here everday on my Birthday until about four years ago. My parents are Eric and Julie Warren had my brother,Kenner, three years later, and my sister, Kelley, four years after that. I attended schools here in Nashville my whole life. In high school I played soccer and was one of the stage managers for the play "The Crucible". But at this one special school, East Literature Magnet I met the woman who was to become the love of my life.
After three years of high school, I asked Sabrina out. Before I knew it we were going steady. I have been with her ever since. We had known each other for three years, and three years later I proposed. I am currently a Senior, majoring in Molecular Biology, and minoring in Spanish and Chemistry. I want to become a Forensic Scientist for the FBI and, should those plans fall through, I could always become a translator.
So who has the best fianceé in the world??? I do! I do! :-Þ
Without a doubt, God placed this very special person in my life. I believe that Sabrina has brought out the best qualities in me and shown me where my not-so-great qualities are. We have helped each other through some hard times, and this circumstances only bring us closer.
Well, thats my bio. Thank you for reading about me!
Sabrina Laney Born August 18, 1982 in Nashville, TN
I was born in Vanderbilt Hospital, and have lived in Nashville until 2000 when I moved to Georgia for college. I attended Wesleyan College where I majored in Music and minored in Communication. I am currently pursuing two Masters degrees. One in Musical Performance and the other in Musical Pedagogy. My wonderful husband is in a great science program at Vanderbilt University. So we are only a few blocks from one another!
In August of 1996, I made the decision to go to East Literature Magnet High School. Sabrina was already in attendance there. We did not know one another very well our first year as high school students, but as the years progressed, we became closer and closer. We almost always had English class together and we shared a few other classes here and there. We always managed to be placed into the same groups (little did she know that I had tried to make sure I got into her group) and became close friends.
The twist- Sabrina’s best friend Sandy had a big crush on me, and I had a big crush on Sabrina. Sabrina had no clue about my crush, and likewise, I had no clue about Sandy’s crush. Sabrina actually thought I might have a crush on Sandy because I always hung out with them. So our sophomore year Sabrina took one of my best friends to prom and I took Sandy to the prom. It slowly became obvious after Sandy left school that I might have a crush on Sabrina. So the summer between our junior and senior years, I took the chance of emailing Sabrina to say hi and tell her I was thinking about her. When school started again we began talking again as usual, but when I brought up the subject of emailing her, she had no clue what I was talking about.
It turned out that she thought the person emailing her was one of her really good friends who also happened to be named Eric. So we laughed about it and became even closer friends. Then one day after school I walked to the parking lot with Sabrina, we got into my car, and I asked her if she would be my girlfriend. Two years after going to prom with her best friend, Sabrina and I were going to our senior prom as a couple.
Since that afternoon of November 19, 1999 Sabrina and I have continued to strengthen our relationship with one another as well as with the Lord our God. We have an awesome relationship, in which we are best friends and are fully supportive of each other’s efforts. We continue to try and grow in wisdom and love, keeping God at the center of everything we do. God has truly blessed me with such a wonderful fiancée.
(See how I proposed to Sabrina here. Its a large file, so it might take a while, especially for you 56k-ers!).
