someones can include a little story here for our group that would be great, just an intro to IPD, Lehigh, and/or our own group.
The goal of this project is to devise and design a method and a device to inject agents in the right anatomical location with the help of sensors. The device would need to be used in "blind manner": The user of the device (a physician or medical technologist) would not be able to visually see where the needle tip actually is. Furthermore, in inserting and withdrawing the device the sharp tip of the cannulas should be concealed for safety to prevent an accidental stick to the user.
