Catholic bishops want G8 to address Africa

    Concern about security issues and protests is overtaking the substantive issues to be discussed at the G8 summit later this month in Kananaskis, Alta., Bishop Frederick Henry of Calgary said yesterday.

    Bishop Henry, who delivered the position of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops on the Group of Eight, said he hopes African development takes centre stage during the June 26-27 summit.
