1. SAPS Messina
The ICD investigated the alleged murder of Andries Ndou.
The incident occurred in Messina in the Northern Province on 27 April 2000 where police took Mr Ndou to show them where a firearm that was allegedly used by Mr Ndou and his friends to kill a farmer and wound his wife on 25 April 2000, was hidden. Mr Ndou was shot three times while he was allegedly trying to escape.
The ICD took charge of the investigation and after finalization thereof handed over the case docket to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for a decision. The DPP decided that a formal inquest be held.
2. Murder and Robbery Unit, Vaalrand
We wish to confirm that we investigated allegations of the assault of Samuel Moela.
The incident occurred in Jane Furse in the Northern Province on 16 February 1999 where police arrested Mr Moela for questioning in connection with a suspect by the name of Ben Sithole whose whereabouts they claimed he knew but he denied any knowledge of said Sithole. He was then taken to a place called Riverside next to a dam where he was allegedly assaulted. The police then took him to the Jane Furse Police Station where they boarded a helicopter with the complainant and the police repeatedly assaulted him. It is also alleged that at some stage when the helicopter was in the air the police threatened to push him out of the helicopter and he was allegedly suspended out of it while handcuffed. Finally he was then pushed out of a motor vehicle on the roadside in the direction of Nebo.
The ICD took over the investigation and finalized the case. The case docket has been handed over to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) with recommendations that all five accused police officers be charged with assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
3. SAPS Fraserburg
We are investigating the death of a minor, Gert Baartman.
The incident occurred at Fraserburg Police Station in the Northern Cape on 15 July 2000 where a police officer arrested the deceased for trespassing and stock theft. On 16 July the deceased was discovered hanging in a police cell.
The ICD took charge of the investigation on 18 July 2000. A post-mortem conducted on 21 July 2000 revealed that the deceased had multiple injuries but according to the doctor who conducted that post-mortem, those injuries were not the cause of death. The cause of death, according to the doctor, was found to be consistent with hanging.
The MEC for Safety and Liaison in the Northern Cape, Ms Connie Seoposengwe, after visiting the Fraserburg Police Station on 03 August 2000 requested a second post-mortem which was arranged by the ICD and performed by an Independent Pathologist, Dr. Perumal, on 08 August 2000. A second post-mortem revealed multiple injuries.
The docket was handed to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for a decision.
4. Public Order Policing Unit, Ulundi
The three police officers implicated in the murder of Mr Bheki Mkhize, who was a Member of Parliament, appeared at the Pietermarizburg High Court on 25 & 26 April 2001.
The incident occurred at Mr Mkhize’s homestead at Mahlabathini in the Kwazulu-Natal Province on 30 July 2000 where police officers were conducting a search for illegal firearms on particular homesteads in that area. Mr Mkhize died after police allegedly shot him with a single shot from an R5 rifle.
The ICD took charge of the investigation immediately after the killing on Sunday, 30 July 2000. Suspects appeared at Empangeni Magistrate’s Court and they are out on bail. After finalization of the investigations the ICD handed over the case docket to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) with a recommendation that suspects be indicted for murder, attempted murder and defeating the ends of justice.
The DPP accepted the recommendation of the ICD and the first appearance was on 13 November 2000. The trial commenced on 17 April 2001 and continued on 25 & 26 April 2001. The other appearances will be on 20-24 August 2001 and 30 & 31 August 2001.
5. Public Order Policing Unit, Alexandra
We completed our investigations into circumstances surrounding the death of a learner from Realogile High School in Alexandra, Abel Phetla (17).
The incident occurred in Alexandra in Gauteng on 30 May 2000 when police responded to a call that learners were on the rampage to avenge the death of another learner, Andrew Radebe, who was allegedly shot and killed the previous day, 29 May 2000, by a relative of a local shop owner. Mr Phetla subsequently died after a bullet that was allegedly fired by police officers on the scene, killed him.
The ICD took charge of the investigation and after finalization thereof handed over the case docket to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) with a recommendation that suspects be indicted for murder and attempted murder.
The DPP accepted our recommendations and decided to charge Sergeant Buhlebenkosi Ndlovu with murder and attempted murder. The first appearance was on 23 January 2001 while the next appearances will be on 28 and 29 May 2001 in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court.
6. SAPS Hoopstad
The ICD is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Nimrod Fanie Mohlabakoe in police custody.
The incident occurred in Hoopstad, Free State on 06 October 2000 where Mr. Mohlabakoe was arrested for allegedly stealing money. On 08 October 2000 he was found dead in a cell hanging from a window frame with injuries to his mouth. The post-mortem revealed that the cause of death is consistent with hanging.
The ICD took charge of the investigation and after finalization thereof handed over the case docket to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for a decision. The DPP decided that an informal inquest be held.
7. Pietersburg Dog Unit
The ICD investigated allegations that police set dogs on two boys.
The incident occurred in Pietersburg on 03 November 2000 where two boys who were playing next to a rubbish dump were set upon by police dogs and were badly injured as a result. One of them even had an ear eaten away.
The ICD took charge of the investigation and after finalization thereof handed over the case docket to SAPS with a recommendation that members involved be charged departmentally.
8.Operational Reaction Service, Pretoria
The ICD is monitoring circumstances surrounding the death of Mr Ralph Maluleke.
The incident occurred at the University of South Africa (UNISA) Main Campus in Pretoria on 07 November 2000 where Mr Maluleke, an employee at UNISA, was involved in a fight with his fellow colleagues. A police officer who was on the campus for registration purposes fatally shot Mr Maluleke after being alerted about the incident by witnesses.
The SAPS is investigating this matter while the ICD is monitoring it. The investigation continues.
9. Silverton Dog Unit
The ICD investigated a case in which SAPS members set upon Mr Mhari Saidi with dogs.
The incident occurred in Pretoria on 21 October 1999 where Mr Saidi was arrested by the Silverton Dog Unit on suspicion of possession of drugs. It is alleged that during the arrest the suspect tried to run away but he was apprehended and searched but nothing was found on his person. The police drove with him to a secluded area where he was set upon by police dogs. The suspect sustained severe dog bite injuries as a result.
The ICD took over the investigation and after finalization thereof, handed over the case docket to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) with a recommendation that the accused face charges of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm. A decision on this matter is yet to be taken.
10. Pinetown Dog Unit
The ICD monitored a case where three people were set upon by police dogs.
The incident occurred in Pinetown, Kwazulu Natal where three people were arrested by the Pinetown Dog Unit on suspicion of housebreaking and theft. They were taken to a secluded spot in a police van where they were poked behind the thighs with a sharp object until they bled. Upon smelling blood the dogs mauled them one after the other inflicting serious wounds which needed medical attention.
The SAPS investigated this matter while the ICD was monitoring. The DPP decided to prosecute and the case will be heard on 30 August 2001 in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court.
11. North East Rand Dog Unit
The six police officers from North East Rand Dog Unit who were seen on television using illegal immigrants as bait during a training exercise will appear on 23 May 2001 in the Pretoria High Court.
The incident occurred between Springs and Benoni in Gauteng in January 1998 where six North East Rand Dog Unit members filmed themselves in an incident where dogs were set upon three illegal immigrants as part of a training exercise.
The ICD and the SAPS have set up a joint investigation team. Suspects were arrested on 07 November 2000 and appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on 09 November 2000 for a bail application which was postponed to 17 November 2000. They were all granted bail R 2 000, 00 each.
After finalization of investigations the case docket was handed over to Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for a decision. The DPP decided to charge Inspectors Lodewyk Christian Koch and Eugene Truster, and Sergeants Jacobus Petrus Smith, Nicolaas Loubser, Dino Guiotto and Robert Benjamin Henzen with assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, corruption and defeating the ends of justice. The first appearance was on 22 January the second was on 01 March 2001 the second was on 10 April 2001 while the third will be on 23 May 2001 in the Pretoria High Court.
12. Pretoria Task Force Unit
We wish to confirm that the owner of the Sandton Men’s Club, The Ranch, has furnished us with copies of videotapes which allegedly contain footage of police brutality during a raid on the club in February 2000.
A meeting between an ICD delegation and the Sandton Criminal Investigation Services (Sandton Detective Branch) was held on 09 March 2000 at Sandton Police Station. After studying the docket and the video material it was then agreed to conduct a joint investigation by both the ICD and the Sandton Criminal Investigation Services. After finalization of investigations the case docket was handed over to the Director of Public Prosecutions for a decision.
13. SAPS Carletonville
The ICD monitored the investigations into circumstances surrounding the death of three awaiting trial prisoners.
The incident occurred in Carletonville at Oberholzer Regional Court on 10 January 2001 where a police officer was overpowered and robbed of his service pistol by awaiting trial prisoners. The firearm was used to kill three of the five awaiting trial prisoners.
The SAPS investigated while the ICD was monitoring the case. The case docket was handed over to the DPP for an inquest. The SAPS have decided to charge two police officers departmentally.
14. SAPS Linden
We are investigating circumstances surrounding allegations of the assault of Hendric Mbangane, Medzamba Ntsimane and William Makhudu Molepo.
The incident occurred in Lyndon Police Station on 27 February 1999 after the complainants were arrested for drinking liquor in public in Lyndon. They allegedly refused to give fingerprints and as a result the Station Commissioner assaulted them.
The ICD took charge of the investigation and after finalization thereof handed over the case docket to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for a decision.
15. SAPS Midrand
We investigated circumstances surrounding the arrest of Ntombizandile Mdoloba.
The incident occurred in Midrand on 12 December 2000 where a 15 year old girl was arrested for allegedly playing music loudly. Other charges include crimen injuria, intimidation, obstructing police from executing their work and refusal to provide information to the police. She appeared in court on 10 January 2001 and the case was withdrawn on the ICD’s request.
The young girl alleges that she was mishandled by police officers. It is alleged that her mother Ms Thuleku Faku was insulted and pushed by a police officer who called them "fucken kaffers and bobbejane"
The ICD took charge of the investigation and after finalization thereof handed over the case docket to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for a decision. The DPP declined to prosecute both police officers and the young girl. The ICD regards this case as closed.
16. SAPS Belfast
The Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD) investigated circumstances surrounding the death of Mulondi Mavin Mashinini.
The incident occurred in Belfast in Mpumalanga Province on 16 January 2001 where the deceased’s mother contacted the police for assistance as her son, the deceased was aggressive and insulting them. The failure of the police to effect his arrest resulted in the deceased’s mother asking for assistance from an officer who was at his home at that time. The officer, accompanied by a colleague attended the scene. It is alleged that the two officers assaulted Mr Mashinini with a knob-kirie. It is also alleged that they dragged him on the ground from the house to the police vehicle by pulling him by trousers. As a result he bled through the nose, mouth and ears while his face and head was covered with blood. The brain scans confirmed that he suffered severe head injuries.
The ICD took charge of the case docket and arrested police officers implicated on Wednesday 24 January 2001 and are facing a charge of murder. They applied for and were granted bail of R1000 each by the Belfast Magistrate’s Court. It was recommended to the Provincial Commissioner that the suspects be suspended without pay. No response on this recommendation has yet been received from the Commissioner.
The first appearance was on 02 March 2001 while the second was on 06 April 2001 in the Belfast Magistrate Court. The third appearance will be on 06 May 2001 in the Belfast Regional Court.
17. Newcastle Dog Unit
The two police officers from Newcastle Dog Unit implicated into the death of Thokozani Nhlapho will appear on 11 June 2001 in the Newcastle Regional Court.
The incident occurred in Newcastle on 24 January 2001 after two members of the Newcastle Dog Unit had arrested a man for urinating in public at the Newcastle taxi rank. The police alleged that the crowd at the scene got unruly and began throwing stones and bottles at the police. It was also alleged that Mr Nhlapho who had allegedly been part of the unruly group, produced a firearm and fired at the police.
The ICD took charge of the case docket and arrested police officers implicated on Friday 09 February 2001 and are facing charge of murder. They applied for and were granted bail of R1000 each by the Newcastle Regional Court. The first appearance was on 22 March 2001 while the other will be on 11 June 2001.
18. Port Alfred Dog Unit
We are investigating allegations that members of the Port Alfred Dog Unit set dogs on Xolani Bawuli.
The incident occurred in Port Alfred on 26 January 2001 after Mr Bawuli was arrested for drinking liquor in Public in Msweli Street. It is alleged that the complainant resisted arrest as a result he was assaulted and dogs were set on him. He was taken to the police station and detained for allegedly assaulting a police officer.
The ICD took over the investigation and finalization thereof will handover the case docket to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for a decision.
19. SAPS Olifantshoek
The Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD) is investigating circumstances surrounding the shooting of protesters in Olifantshoek in the Northern Cape.
The incident occurred on 01 March 2001 where the Station Commissioner at the Olifantshoek police station allegedly fired live rounds of ammunition using an R1 rifle. Eight protesters were wounded during the shooting when people demonstrated against the local council in Olifantshoek.
The ICD took charge of the investigation and arrested the Station Commissioner implicated. He applied for and was granted bail of R500 by the Postmasburg Magistrate’s Court. The first appearance was on 22 March 2001 while the second will be on 23 May 2001 in Kathu Magistrate’s Court.
20. Vehicle Collision Unit, King William’s Town
The ICD investigated allegations of corruption, fraud and extortion implicating Sgt C.C Killian based at the King William’s Town Collision Unit.
The incident occurred in King William’s Town in the Eastern Cape Province where Sgt Killian approached Andile Jack and demanded an amount of about R 500, 00 as payment of admission of guilt fine in respect of a traffic offence for which he was in possession of a warrant of arrest. As a result Mr Jack was not arrested.
The ICD took charge of the investigation on 15 February 2001. Sgt Killian was arrested and detained at Tamara police station after he was exposed through a trap set by the ICD. On 16 February 2001 he was charged for fraud alternatively corruption. He applied for and was granted bail of R 2000, 00. The first appearance was on 23 March 2001 while the second was on 25 April 2001 while the third will be on 09 May 2001 In the Zwelitsha Magistrate’s Court.
21. SAPS Marianhill
We investigated circumstances surrounding the death of Sgt S. S Ndimande of Marianhill Police Station in Kwazulu Natal.
The incident occurred in Marianhill on 14 February 2001 where Capt C M Duma shot dead the deceased after suspecting him of being in love with his fiancée. It is alleged that the owner of the house where the incident occurred disarmed Capt Duma who attempted to commit suicide. Capt Duma was arrested and detained at Pinetown Police Station. The first appearance was on 19 February 2001 the second was on 27 February 2001 the third was on 18 April 2001 while the fourth will be on 17 May 2001 in the Pinetown Regional Court.
22. SAPS Sea Point
A police officer from Sea Point Police Station in Cape Town implicated in allegations of acts of criminality made by Mr. Deon Mostertl appeared on 24 April 2001 in the Cape Town Regional Court.
Mr Mostert made allegations of complicity of police in acts of criminality in 1999. He was arrested at a roadblock in Cape Town for initially being thought to have been the mastermind behind a series of bombings in Cape Town. Only one police officer implicated in Mr Mostert’s allegations has been charged whilst a majority of other allegations were unsubstantiated. The implicated police officer Insp Neil Baard has been charged with being in unlawful possession of a bulletproof vest. The suspect will appear on 7 March on further charges ranging from theft to conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of firearms.
The ICD took over the investigation and after finalization thereof handed over the case docket to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for a decision. The first appearance was on 7 March 2001, and subsequent appearances were on 22 March 2001,
29 March 2001, 24 April 2001 while the next will be on 01 June 2001 in the Cape Town Regional Court.
23. SAPS Leboeng
The Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD) investigated a case alleging police complicity in the death of Pollen Sekgobela in Leboeng in the Northern Province.
The incident took place on Wednesday 14 February 2001 when police on patrol found four boys dismembering an abandoned car.
When the boys saw the police they fled the scene and upon regrouping later on they discovered that one of them was missing.
A complaint about the missing boy was filed by members of his family and the complainants believed that the police had shot him dead.
On Monday 26 February 2001, the decomposed body of the boy was found with a cutoff head lying near the body.
The ICD attended a postmortem in Medunsa in Pretoria on Friday 02 March 2001 and the results revealed no bullet wounds.
Police complicity in the case could not be established and the ICD regarded it as a closed case.
24. SAPS Barkly East
The three police officers implicated in the murder of Sphiwe Zide (14) and the assault of five other teenagers will appear in the Elliot Regional Court on 14 August 2001.
The incident occurred in Barkly East in the Eastern Cape on 10 April 2000 where police arrested six teenagers who allegedly committed a burglary. These boys were allegedly assaulted by the police and two of them were dragged behind a police van. One youth collapsed as a result of exhaustion and was killed.
The ICD took charge of the investigation on 13 April 2000 and after finalization thereof, handed over the case docket to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) with a recommendation that the three police officers be indicted for murder, assault, assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, theft and attempting to defeat the ends of justice, respectively.
The case was first heard on 07 September 2000, the second appearance was on 17 October 2000 and the third appearance was 28 November 2000, the fourth was on 21 February 2001, the fifth was on 26 March 2001 while sixth will be on 14 August 2001 in the Elliot Regional Court.
25. SAPS Vredendal
The Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD) is investigating circumstances surrounding the shooting of the community of the informal settlement in Vredendal in the Western Cape.
The incident occurred on 03 March 2001 in Avilla Park informal settlement where members of the SAPS and SANDF conducted a raid. It is alleged that a police officer assaulted an old man and then members of the community got unruly and started throwing stones at police. It is also alleged that police started firing live rounds of ammunition without warning to the community which resulted in the exchange of fire between the police and the community members. Six civilians and two police officers were wounded during the shooting.
The investigation is continuing.
26. SAPS Jeppe
We are investigating circumstances surrounding the assault of Sylvia Manda.
The incident occurred on 09 March 2001 in Hillbrow where Ms Manda was allegedly assaulted and detained by two Jeppe police station based officers. Ms Manda a teacher at St Enda’s Community College in Hilbrow, was on her way to work when the police stopped her after being suspected as an illegal immigrant.
The ICD took charge of the case docket and handed over to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for a decision.
27. Public Order Policing Unit, Umtata
The seven suspects implicated in the murder of Nikelo Kalimashe and the assault on his two friends Xolani Mteleli and Fikile Mpaka will appear at the Mnqanduli Regional Court in the Eastern Cape on Monday, 06 August 2001.
The incident occurred at a house in Genqge Village in the Eastern Cape on 31 July 1999 where Sergeant Mpindisi Ntwanambi and six civilians Mr. Xolani Mteleli, Mr. Fikile Mpaka, Mr. Thokombisi Jela, Mr. Mkhumbini Jela, Mr. Mabanda Ngceba and Mr. Lakheni Bhebheza are reported to have reacted to allegations that Mr. Kalimashe and his two friends had earlier assaulted a Mr. Rezu Jela. Mr. Kalimashe subsequently died during the assault and the suspects allegedly assaulted his two friends as well.
The ICD took charge of the investigation on 04 August 1999 and after finalization thereof, handed over the case docket to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) with a recommendation that the suspects be charged with murder, attempted murder, assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm and defeating the ends of justice.
The DPP accepted the recommendation and decided to prosecute all seven suspects. The case was first heard on 25 April 2000, and subsequent appearances were on 28 April 2000, 22 May 2000, 04 August 2000, 06 October 2000, 08 December 2000, and 26 March 2001 while the other one will be on 06 August 2001 in the Mnqanduli Regional Court.
28. Murder and Robbery Unit, Pietersburg
The Independent Complaints Directorate is investigating circumstances surrounding the death of Andries Mangwane.
The incident occurred on Saturday on 10 March in Tshamahanzi in the Northern Province where Insp. Matjeke and his son arrested Mr Mangwane for an alleged house breaking at Matjeke’s house. It is alleged that both Insp. Matjeke and his son assaulted and locked him in the garage for interrogation. He was then taken to the Mokopane Hospital after sustaining serious injuries.
The ICD took charge of the case docket and arrested Insp. Matjeke and his son on Thursday 15 March 2001. They applied for and were granted bail of R1000 each by the Potgietersrust Magistrate’s Court. The case was heard on 23 April 2001 while the second appearance will be on 19 June 2001 in the Potgietersrust Magistrate’s Court.
29. SAPS Culcutta
The Independent Complaints Directorate (ICD) is investigating circumstances surrounding the death of Mr Given Nkuna.
The incident occurred on 12 March 2001 in Culcutta in the Northern Province where Mr Nkuna was shot for allegedly resisting arrest after a warrant was issued for his arrest. It is also alleged that a police officer who was assigned to execute the arrest was overpowered by the suspect. As a result he called for back up which resulted in the fatal shooting of Mr Nkuna.
The ICD took over the case docket and conducted a post mortem on Friday 06 March 2001 at Mapulaneng Hospital. The post mortem revealed that Mr Nkuna was struck by three bullets, two on the back and the other one under the knee of his left leg.
The case docket has been handed over to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for a decision.
30. SAPS Tinmine
The Independent Complaint Directorate is investigating the death of Emmanuel Mooka.
The incident occurred on Wednesday 14 March 2001 at Bekenburg in the Northern Province after Mooka shot dead his wife, and injured his daughter and a policeman who had come to the rescue of Mooka’s wife. It is alleged that Mooka managed to run away after the shooting incident. He was apparently traced and found on Thursday 15 March 2001 by members of the community hiding in an empty house. Police were called and on their arrival Mooka allegedly tried to shoot them but he was shot dead by the police.
The ICD took charge of the case docket and after finalization thereof will handover to the Director of Public Prosecutions for a decision.
31. SAPS Lulekani
The Independent Complaints Directorate is investigating circumstances surrounding the death of Silas Mkhonto.
The incident occurred on 03 March 2001 in Lulekani in the Northern Province after Mr Mkhonto was arrested for an alleged assault GBH case by a police officer of Lulekani Police Station. It is alleged the suspect overpowered a police officer who was escorting him to the cells and ran away. It is also alleged that two warning shots were fired but the suspect ignored them and continued running and the police officer shot him and he died.
The investigation is continuing.
32. SAPS Siyabuswa
The ICD investigated circumstances surrounding the death of Sgt Mphutlha.
The incident occurred on 29 September 1999 in Siyabuswa in Mpumalanga Province when Sgt Ndlamlenze allegedly accidentally shot Insp. Mphutlha on the head and he died instantly.
The ICD took charge of the case docket and after finalization thereof handed it over to the Director of Public Prosecutions with a recommendation that the suspect be charged with culpable homicide. After several appearances in the Siyabuswa Regional Court the case was finalized on 19 April 2001. Sgt Ndlamlenze was found guilty of shooting Insp. Mputhla. He was convicted and sentenced to 18 months imprisonment or a fine of R 8000.00 plus a further three year suspended prison sentence.
33 Middelburg Vehicle Theft Unit
The ICD is monitoring the investigation into circumstances surrounding the death of David Dawie Sebesho.
The incident occurred on 12 April 2001 in Vlaklaagte Number 2 in Mpumalanga Province where Sebesho allegedly tried to run away after being stopped by police who suspected the bakkie he and his companion were traveling with as a stolen vehicle. Police had earlier followed a signal from the tracker system installed in the bakkie. The police shot him and he died on the scene.
The SAPS is investigating while the ICD is monitoring the case.
The investigation is continuing.
34 SAPS Kwaggafontein
The ICD is monitoring investigations into circumstances surrounding the death of an armed robbery suspect.
The incident occurred on 15 April 2001 in Vlaklaagte Number 1 in Mpumalanga Province where it is alleged a police officer shot the armed robbery suspect and he died. It is alleged that the suspect had robbed Mr Piet Mahlangu of about R 800.00. The latter complained to a police officer who was off-duty at the time. It is also alleged that the police officer contacted SAPS Kwaggafontein reporting the same matter. While waiting for police to arrive, the police officer and Mr Mahlangu apparently traced and found the suspect in a certain house. On arrival the police officer entered the house and the suspect allegedly fired at him and the police officer returned fire killing the suspect instantly.
