(translation) On Friday, a police dog bit the hand of the Defense Minister Michèle Alliot-Marie who responded with a shriek of pain. At her side, colleague and Minister of the Interior, Dominique de Villepin, stood rooted to the spot as he witnessed the event. Alliot-Marie, who was in the midst of touring the security preparations for D-Day celebrations in Arromanches, was immediately treated. She managed to finish her inspection with her hand in a bandage.
