The U.S. military, protesters and the City of Calgary are getting their G-8 preparations into high gear.

The U.S. Air Force has already delivered security equipment to Calgary.

Protesters are ready to take your questions about their plans, and the city is battening down manhole covers as part of its preparations.

Many Calgarians noticed a huge military plane flying over Calgary Friday.

It was a U.S. Air Force galaxy transport.

It landed at the Calgary airport and unloaded two black vans and a black truck.

They'll be used for security during the G-8.

The Calgary Airport Authority says in the days preceding and during the summit, there will be more military, helicopter and other aircraft activity not normally seen in the skies above Calgary.

All this activity is controlled by the Canadian Armed Forces and federal agencies.
