Canadian blood services has been stepping up its efforts to ensure it's ready for the G8 summit.
They've held three extra blood donor clinics to ensure they have an adequate blood supply in case it's needed during the summit.
The boost coincides with the agency's annual push to get extra donations to carry it through the summer.
